I am a podcast listener and last night as I went to update my iPod, I found some very interesting news. On Tuesday, Apple (MAC) announced the release of the Video iPod. That sounded pretty cool, but what would you put on it. I went on to see that they have partnered with ABC and they are selling each episode of "LOST" for $1.99 to down load to your video iPod. They had a couple of other shows, but I found it very nice that a show such as Lost would be the main attraction on a major technology release such as that. They also were selling the whole season for like $35.

I also found a couple of other interesting items during my search of the new items. Marty's song Tree's has now been released as a single on iTune's. Journey has a new Album (CD, song thingy, or whatever you call it now).

The last piece of news I actually found out today. Marty will be opening for INXS. Maybe they are realizing that they needed someone good to at least save them from total disaster.

Do anyone have an iPod and what do you think of the future of portable TV?

Is the new Journey CD with the same guy they had on the Armageddon soundtrack?

Maybe INXS should open for Marty?

Based on the samples I heard, I do believe it is the same guy.

I think Marty could put on a great show. I think that is a good sign of an up coming album from Marty.

I have no iPod. As for portable tv...I don't know. I like the big screens, but obviously you can't take that with you. Portable things are great when you're travelling. I stick with the old stand-by, the book. Great portable entertainment! And the batteries don't die (until I fall asleep), and the reception's never off.

Hey, the story I read said they're going to have Lost and Desperate Housewives.

We are looking at the future of television, people. This is the only way to combat illegal downloading. I think alot of people would rather pay 2 dollars for a semi-instant download instead of waiting an hour or so for an illegal one. It won't be long, maybe six months, before the other networks fall in line.

I don't have one but I want one. If I get one I know my kids are going to want them too.

I just saw a TV comercial last night for a Cell Phone with TV on it. I looked over at my husband he said, "NO". I tried the arguement that I can't keep up on all my shows now as it is but didn't win. Since watching TV and driving doesn't equal a good mix I think I'll pass for now. But I do want an ipod.....Santa maybe??
