GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

I've always had trouble finding music. In fact I never listened to that much music, although I'm not sure which is the cause and which is the effect. When I did get music it was mostly videogame soundtracks. My library was never diverse, and my playlists were never that large. I would get an album and listen to it for months and I enjoyed it. Although when I reformatted my computer, I moved all my music to a thumb drive. The thumb drive is now in my Xbox 360 and I'm too lazy to carry it back up to my room, so I'm now left with no music... wellwaswith no music.

I ended up using Pandora online to get music. It's not the best, but it does the job. The only thing which I don't like about it is that you can't choose an individual song, artist, or album, and they don't have videogame soundtracks. That sucks! Oh well, I've been listening to the Nickelback channel. I must say, it is pretty good, but I might not have to put up with it when Last.FM comes out on the 360 because I'll be able to take my music back up to my room.

When I download music (legally) I go to a website named mp3raid.com. You should check it out too!

As for videogame music I go to Galbadia Hotel.

I don't listen to video game music, so I think Pandora is awesome. I even have it on my phone now. The only bad thing about the mobile version is that you have to listen to it through head phones because it lags coming out of the phone's speaker... weird, yes.

I flip around Youtube sometimes and run into songs and artists I like, and sometimes this leads to a chain of song searches for a particular song I happened to think of that I like but forgot about and haven't heard in a while. The radio can be a good place to find music sometimes, but the problem with that is radio DJs like to change up their music every couple of weeks or months to keep things fresh, so you could go for weeks with a song in your head and not hear it again. Online radio and satellite radio are actually more difficult to find music on than regular radio, because they will play music from more diverse artists, as well as concert and acoustic versions of songs. If all else fails you could always just go through listening to a few tracks from different artists at random and see if you find that sound you're looking for. As J.J. Abrams put it, you will appreciate a CD more if you got in your car, drove to a music store, and spent your time searching through a rack surrounded by other people to discover it, you feel like you earned the music that way.

epitonic.com was a great site until the webmaster simply vanished. there are thousands of tracks on there but up until six months ago - you could download them. maybe i'll try and buy the site and run it myself. it was truly a great source for music.

I have the Pandora app on my iTouch. It's great and saves me about $20.

Last.FM is great but I prefer Pandora for discovering new music I've never heard of, both great services.

Last.FM on the 360 sure is awesome addition to the console.

Yeah, pandora is pretty nifty, but it doesn't really have any of the songs I listen to, so it doesn't help me too much.
