i FINALLY fixed the computer, turns out faulty ram knackered it in s i replaced it (im beginging to think it was the slot not the stick of ram though since it works in a different slot) so now i have 2 gig of ram. i spent the last day looking at a past order of the computer to find which motherboard i had, only to find later that i had initialy repalced it with a different motherboard so i was trying (and failing) to install the wrong drivers all day.

you know what this means now... more wow and BF2142 with new patchs for each. woot
