This is a problem i've always had since i first started getting into gaming games cost to much and everytime i go shopping for games there always 2 games i want to buy but i only have enough money for one.  This is a problem all of us have had at one point or another and i'll have to go through this again tomorrow when i have to decide between field commander of monster hunter for the psp.  It's desicion like these that really trouble me since usually I end up regretting my choice and wishing i had both the other one.  So my question is why do games have to be so expensive??? 50$ for a game is alot of money to spend on a game and psp aren't much cheaper at 40$ a game.  It makes me envy DS gamers who pay only 30$ per game.  Why can't all games be like  20$???

Well, a lot of DS games are $35 like New Super Mario Bros. and Metriod Prime Hunters.

But I know what you mean. An alternative to buying games is renting them. Blockbuster is alright for getting new games for consoles, but GameFly is better especially for your portable handhelds.

I'll be renting Monster Hunter Freedom, (and that's the game I think you should get) and if I like it enough I may buy it through GameFly. It's a lot cheaper than buying it brand new and you still get the box and manuals.

i agree. the prices are outrageous! I understand they need to make the money to make more games but dont they no that if the games cost too much we wont buy them?

exactly i mean i know there trying to deliver a console experience on a handheld but please game developers keep the prices handheld.this is one of the reasons y i want to get a ds. the psp games r to expensive 2 games for 80$ is crazy for a handheld and considering a large magirity of games dont warrant that price tag it makes me wish i had never upgraded my psp.
