I just thought I would tell people what my top ten PS2 games are, if anyone is interested, simply because I havent blogged in ages. Most are predictable.
10. Timesplitters 2 - This is one of my favourite FPS, i still play it with my friends. It is a fun FPS, it is serious, and a laugh at the same time, and is one of the best multiplayer games I have ever played.
9. Gran Turismo 4 - the graphics are better, more tracks and more cars. It can only be Gran Turismo, the best driving game of all time. Before I got obssessed with RPGs I wuld mostly play driving games, and this is one of the best. I think this one was trying to be more realistic than fun though and thats why number 7 beats it.
8. Gran Turismo 3 - a huge step up from two, and this is the best driving game of all time. The graphics were immensely good, and there were hundreds of hours of potential racing fun to be had. I never finished it 100% though, after 80 it became impossible.
7. Metal Gear Solid 2. I only started the MGS series this year, when my friend gave me the original after he got it in a trade, he only wanted the FFVII end of it. I enjoyed the first one but didnt think it was one of the best games ever, but I loved MGSII. Its my favourite stealth game of all time. Multiple difficulties, an amazing story, and lots of scope for exploring. Brilliant game. I loved Snake Eater too, but this had much better gameplay, for me at least.
6. Soul Calibur 2 - I was a fan of the PS1s Soul Blade, and had never even heard of Soul Calibur, and the moment I heard about this game being in the same series I had to buy it. I was glad I did, this is probably my favourite fighting game of all time. I have completed the story mode multiple times, doing all the missions and then the extra missions, usually only using one character throgh the whole game. Voldo was my favourite. Shame I dont have a PS3/xbox360, because SC4 would be the first game currently out I would buy
4= Kingdom Hearts - I couldnt decide the 4th spot between this and FFXII. I bought KH as part of a buy one get one free when I got FFX. Best. deal. ever. This game is amazing, it combined Disney and Final Fantasy. I hadnt played much FF then, only X, but I understand all the references now. I hadnt grown out of Disney then either, so it was good.
4=. Final Fantasy XII - the best graphics on the PS2. While this game has an excellent story, Fran, Ashe and Basch aside, the characters are quite bland. It has an excellent innovative battle system which is fun to use, Im not sure if I like this more or less than KH at all.
3. Kingdom Hearts II - the sequel to one of my favourite RPGS. This game is amazing, story-wise. I lvoe the way the Disney worlds are made into 3D. The story is more serious and it is less childish. It is epic in some parts, you have to take down 1000 heartless being a highlight.
2. Final Fantasy X-2 - the first ever final fantasy sequel. Most people dont like it for being too girly. But I dotn care what those people think. The game is amazing, it has my favourite battle system of all time, and the story is good. My favourite character is in it, and the dressphere system is great, changing jobs mid-battle is a fantastic idea.
1. Final Fantasy X. Who'da thunk it? Everyone who knows anything about me knows that this is my all time favourite game. I have spent approximately 450 hours on the game, and completed it five times. I beat Penance with max stats 2 of those times. I love everything, the battle system, the voice acting, the graphics, the characters, the story, the aeons, everything. The game has two of my favourite characters of all time, Auron and most of all Yuna.
These are my fAVE ps2 games. Ones that missed the list are Ratchet and clank 3, Burnout revenge MGS3, PRO evo soccer 3 and ratcet and clank 1
So ıve only been gone for one week and when ı come back ı have 31 messages! thats the most ıve ever had ıt took me ages to sort through them. Turkey ıs quıte good but just lıke last year ı have a mıgraıne ı have had ıt for 4 days now but ı came to the pharmacy to get some medıcıne.
Apart from that ıt ıs good constantly more than 30 degrees. ı havent been to beach yet because ı have been ıll but ı have been swımmıng. turns out ı do front crawl wrong and after 20 lengths ı had back ache.
flıght sucked though ıt was 2 hours late but ı played some ffta2 whıch was good.
Our favourıte resturant ın bodrum ıs stıll here and ıt was nıce because all of the people there recognısed us. Ive been once so far my famıly has gone twıce but last 2 nıghts ıve been ın bed wıth mıgraıne.
BTW the keyboard ıs dıfferent and the only punctuatıon on here ıs . so ıf you thınk ıve gotten dyslexıc over the last week ıts not true.
Gamespot looks dıfferent and ı dont lıke ıt yet but ı wıll probably grow to lıke ıt soon. Same happened wıth the latest wındows medıa player.
Its mıday now and ıt has got to be 35 degrees ı can check the temperature ın town square later but ıts hotter than usual. I found the strangest shops that ı never expected to fınd ın bodrum. one that sells necklaces wıth metal band logos on them. ı got a deıcıde one the death metal band. there ıs also a bar that plays rock musıc. ı havenjt been ın yet but ı could hear nıghtwısh playıng outsıde whıch ıs great.
Im gonna go now because ıve run out of thıngs to say LOL. Hope everyone ıs doıng ok.
It is one year today since I first made my gamespot account, for Gamefaqs, when I wanted to post in the boards there. It wasnt until October that I even knew about Gamespot forums, but since then they have been my second home. GS is a really great place, with nice people, who are all interested in the same thing, its great to talk to people about Final Fantasy or Black metal, because I dont know any people who like these things in real life.
In my one year at Gamespot I have:

I have also made a union called RPGs reign over the world, which is quite successful, it isnt a big or well known union, but it is doing well with a few active members, nice games, and over 140 members in total. I am pleased with that, and a lot of my GS friends are members of this union.
I have spent nearly all of my Gamespot time in the unions, and I really like them, as I said before, its nice to meet people with similar interests. Being in the unions has also helped me learn more about Games, I never knew about Events like E3 or TGS or anything before I started using them. By spending such a long time in the unions, I have racked up 9707 forum posts, which is a large number, I would think.
This amounts to:

And now onto the second, and significantly shorter, half of my blog. I am going on holiday to turkey for 2 and a half weeks, and because of this will not be on Gamespot.
Last year I went to the same place and had a terrible migraine due to the heat, so I am not looking forward to it immensely. I have some games to play on the plane: Final fantasy tactics advance 2, which i have nearly finished already, legend of zelda PH, Final Fantasy crystal chronciles ring of fates and some others. I will also take my PSP so I can play some crisis core, and watch Advent children. My mum also got me the next Discworld book, so I can read that.
I am staying at a place with an olympic sized swimming pool. We usually have it to ourselves, because the people who own the other Villas are rich Turksih people who only come to stay there once every few weeks. It is near Bodrum, which is by far my favourite of the places we have been to, and I have been to Turkey four times. The people are friendly and the resturants are great.
I got some prescription sunglasses, and Goggles, so that the sun doesnt burn my eyes (im very sensitive to it) and I hoepfully wont be as ill as last year. I also like swimming underwater, lengths are boring, so I will be able to see too.
So for 2 and a half weeks I wont be here, sorry to dissapoint you folks! But I will tell you about it when I get back.
