Most Liveable City!

To my suprise (and apparently Glen Beck's chagrin), my city was voted 3rd most liveable in its population category (200,001-750,000) in the world, taking home the silver award. I always thought that because our population is declining slightly (though not as much as other major cities in the region), and that corporations are moving out of the city (usually to neiboring suburbs) on a pretty consistent basis, that we would never get any sort of recognition, especially for most liveable.

Despite these drawbacks, I've always known that Toledo was an easy place to live (as long as you can find employment). Low cost of living, the fact that traffic jams are a rareity, very stable weather (we hardly ever get any real bad storms), and good city services are reasons why I feel that Toledo was nominated for this award. So I think we deserve a pat on the back for this one, and notch one point on the scoreboard for the rust belt.
