If you going to ask someone to come over and play with your Wii, make sure they know its a video game console first!

I got a chance to play the Wii recently, and I have to say that it was a lot of fun. Playing Wii Sports bowling with my family was some of the most fun I've had gaming in a long while (my high score is 181). The motion sensing controllers were a lot of fun, and easy to learn how to use. The only problem I have with the console is that I wish you had the option of using an actual gamepad with some games (excluding virtual console games, which you can use the ****c controller with), I'm not sure the Wii remote will work well with all genres. Time will tell though.

I also got to try Street Fighter Turbo briefly, and it was still as fun as I remember. It certainly brought back memories of playing the game at my cousin's house when I was a kid. Super Paper Mario was very similar to the original Paper Mario on the N64, and still wordy as hell. I like a good storyline in a game, but I think there just a bit more dialog then what's necessary. Thankfully, the gameplay was a lot of fun, so that evened it out a bit.

Anyway, that's all for this journal entry. Looking at my previous entry's I'm not so sure too many people are going to read this anyway. But if you do, Happy Halloween!

I get to go to the Cavaliers game tonight! Yay!

Wii are always sold out in my areas. Even though i've just bought 2 consoles, I still want a wii lol. I'm still new to the Paper Mario series, and im currently playing the Gamecube port, which looks and plays totally awesome! Street fighter turbo is nostalgia Capcom is finally making sf4 and it has a cell-shaded look to it. Cleveland Cavaliers are fun to watch, i'm a Laker fan , but theres so much drama going on in Los Angeles right now This is late but...Happy Halloween~!

The Cavs game was a lot of fun, even if they did look pretty lousy in their opener. I got a free schedule magnet, and a mini Eastern Conference champs banner which was nice.

I'm still holding out for more price drops before I buy a new console. My PS2 still works ok, though its getting worse (my NES might also outlast my PS2, lol). I am interested in SF4, though the 3-D attempts they have made with the series previously have been so-so, so I'm skeptical.

As for Paper Mario, I played Mario RPG which was a predecessor to Paper Mario, and a little of Paper Mario on the 64. I really did enjoy Mario RPG, and I would recomend it if you havn't played it.
