I got a chance to play the Wii recently, and I have to say that it was a lot of fun. Playing Wii Sports bowling with my family was some of the most fun I've had gaming in a long while (my high score is 181). The motion sensing controllers were a lot of fun, and easy to learn how to use. The only problem I have with the console is that I wish you had the option of using an actual gamepad with some games (excluding virtual console games, which you can use the ****c controller with), I'm not sure the Wii remote will work well with all genres. Time will tell though.
I also got to try Street Fighter Turbo briefly, and it was still as fun as I remember. It certainly brought back memories of playing the game at my cousin's house when I was a kid. Super Paper Mario was very similar to the original Paper Mario on the N64, and still wordy as hell. I like a good storyline in a game, but I think there just a bit more dialog then what's necessary. Thankfully, the gameplay was a lot of fun, so that evened it out a bit.
Anyway, that's all for this journal entry. Looking at my previous entry's I'm not so sure too many people are going to read this anyway. But if you do, Happy Halloween!
I get to go to the Cavaliers game tonight! Yay! ![]()

I'm still holding out for more price drops before I buy a new console. My PS2 still works ok, though its getting worse (my NES might also outlast my PS2, lol). I am interested in SF4, though the 3-D attempts they have made with the series previously have been so-so, so I'm skeptical.
As for Paper Mario, I played Mario RPG which was a predecessor to Paper Mario, and a little of Paper Mario on the 64. I really did enjoy Mario RPG, and I would recomend it if you havn't played it.
