Next week, the giantbomb.com beta site should be starting, and I will be moving over there. Chances are that I will start a regular blog, etc, etc, so stay tuned for my exciting username over there. Guess what... it'll probably be exactly the same, lol. I'm just that exciting!

Did I mention I'm going to Japan in 6 weeks? Yup, I'm starting to count down the days. For three weeks, pretty much traveling most of the main country. Tokyo, Fukuoka, Kyoto/Osaka, Shikoku.. maybe up north a little. All-Japan rail passes rule. Hopefully I'll be able to stay at friends' places so it doesn't cost me a lot for hotels, etc... but a ryokan stay would be cool. I'm not sure if I'll get any games or not, since they are just as expensive in store as importing them via yesasia or playasia.com.

Yesterday I watched Into the Wild and it is quite possibly the best movie in decades. For me. You may not like it, but the whole searching life and finding happiness means a lot to me sometimes. That and living like a "survivior man" is pretty cool. So check it out if that sounds interesting. I plan on putting a review of that and One Missed Call 2 on my site later this week.

I continue to use gamespot almost daily, though no one writes blogs, so I just go to Downtown Gamespot and other forums, check reviews, and watch the live shows. I can't wait until giantbomb is up with live shows. Even Brad Shoemaker showed up on the last podcast over there. In any case, GTA4 came out and I am super hyped about it. Especially after last night's marathon on gamespot. That was a lot of fun. I love marathons.

Life updates: I have exam number 4 (of 9) coming up in just two weeks from now, and have been studying almost like a maniac for it. Averaging 3-4 hours a day including work and home time. Two more weeks of that and I should be good to go. So this means that with the Red Wings and Pistons both in the middle of playoffs, I have almost no time for games on the weekdays. I get some time on the weekends, but that's only when friends are busy and aren't coming over. So I'm getting GTA4 and MarioKart, and a Dual shock 3 the second my exam is over. It's going to be crazy the next two weeks, but after that... lots of time and incredible games! Not to mention Persona 3 FES, which is great.

You can still find me somewhat rarely (every week or so) write in the blog on my website, and on steam playing TF2 quite often. I'm still keeping my "currently playing" games list up to date if you're interested. Keep checking back so we can all link up again when giantbomb starts up for real.
