For the last few blog posts, I generated a few reviews based on my experience with some public released beta tests for MMOs. I was hoping to finish off my final blog posts with something worth reading, but I can't find anymore interesting MMOs . I tested  a couple recently that aren't worth discussing... at all. They were either REALLY pointless, or just too generic to write about.

Anyways, this is my last blog post, but I will still be using Gamespot for posting reviews and stuff... and periodically leave comments on your profiles too.

I've been using Filmspot a lot recently to find movie trailers and stuff. If you haven't checked it out yet, it's an awesome work in progress. There's been a lot of great movies coming out recently, and I'm forced to download them... since I don't turn 17 until June. (stupid R rated movies)

Thanks all for reading! Please comment!!!

Today, I present the second game in my journey for quality MMOs. In this round, I tested an MMORTS (Massive Multi-player Online Real Time Strategy) which easily qualifies as unique and engaging. Though similar to MMORPGs, this genre requires a higher focus in trading, defense, and even offensive maneuvers.

In terms of new features, Ballerium introduces an organized and sturctured clan management system by the means of Clan Governing method, which brings a somewhat more advanced planning tool for individual strategies and group tactics. This includes the ability to send tactic maps via in-game messenger. Additionally, other members of your team are easy to communicate with, by the means of a "hover-and-type" system, which is a text box that appears above the player you are communicating with. Though this was a fantastic idea to add, release 48 may regress back to the previous communication system, due to bugs and some inconveniences.

This was an awesome game to test, however, I recommend waiting for a later release, such as a release canidate (releases prior to final release) due to 3 fatal errors, and some gameplay glitches.

The first chapter of my journey begins here. At it's public release of alpha 1.2, Eternal Wrath Online only emerges as a cliche for the 2D MMO genre.

With a parallel world of predictable game-play, this online fantasy will not strike its final release as a unique hit. In the game, you begin as a lost civilian without clothes or weapons; a predictable start. As you make your way through the first world, a small island located outside Eternal, you find sticks with enough damage to kill native ants. Seldom, you will come across an ant with a "leg" that you can pick up as an inventory item. This may be used later for trading when you get to the town. Eventually, you arrive at this town where you have the opportunity to purchase clothing and weapons, and finally kick some real 2D ass! I reached level 8, where my game was abruptly stopped by a wonderful BSoD (Blue Screen of  Death).

The overall gameplay was predictable and easy to figure out. However, the initial enemy (ant) displayed some unique characteristics. For example, when the species is threatened multiple times, you are suddenly dragged underground, where you are supposed to meet your death by surrounding Ant Guards. If you are able to slip through their tight formation, then you can safely exit and return to normal gameplay.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like jlr2k8.
jlr2k8 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could jlr2k8 possibly have for not rating a single film?
