Erm that's it I wanted to do ten and then do my top ten of top tens, but well I can't think of that many. I guess it's a lot easier when you are with your mates and you make up stupid ones… a lot them not great for the child friendliness of this site.
May the Force Be With You!

Hello people! How are we are all doing? Not been that active on here recently… to much work to do. Anyway this is just a angry blog I was going to review Pirates 3, but then I decided I'll do a blog and review it on filmspot. So anyway the main body of this blog will be film based anyway.
As I'm sure none of you know there is a Bollywood film festival just around the corner that will take place in none other than sunny Yorkshire. Or more neatly named IIFA's "International Indian Film Academy." Anyway basically this academy promotes Bollywood awareness. Or some rubbish… you see I was quite happy about this until I went on the website to find out more and the main event the "Premier" is said to be held in Leeds. This is a lie. It is been held at the cinema I work at in Castleford. But Castleford isn't mentioned, now for an academy trying to promote awareness for something by pushing a smaller town away and trying to play it off as a bigger city is terrible. They say how big and magical it's going to be. Well it isn't all the people watching the film are paying £300 to watch it.
The production company are giving the cinema the prints for free... and the IIFA is paying the cinema a fortune. Are we the workers getting more money? NO are we hell. We have to walk round serving champagne, not talking, giving out silly little stupid foods, holding doors open, and all the time we have to look "our smartest"!
Now what first annoyed me is that they want us to be clean shaven and to smart. Now at first I thought that meant to have tidy beards but no to have no facial hair… a little hypocritical I think… hence why I haven't shaved for 3weeks. Anyway I wouldn't mind so much if I wouldn't have to fight through press to get to work.
Now the film is called "The Train" I don't know what it's about and I don't care, I don't like Bollywood films they are too long for me. But I am going to be waiting hand and foot on these people for minimum wage, that doesn't seem fair to me; the managers will get a bonus. And all we'll get is a massive shouting at for what went wrong, and no praise for went right.
Does this seem fair to any of you?
Well this is a bizarre response to a friend's blog (Not bizaro bizarre I'm not copying the blog but backwards). And is about the amazing Electro Rock band ELO or Electric Light Orchestra.
So ELO where to start… well my dad always said start at the beginning so I will.
They were formed in 1970 by the left over members of "The Move." One of the biggest bands in popular music with a total of 14 proper band members and 17 guest band members (Not all at the same time). They had very little luck initially in the UK, and it was left up to the Americans to recognise this great musical achievement.
As seen from the many off shoots of this band the main 3 or should I say the founders are possibly 3of the most important people in 70-80's rock music. As not only were they in the great "The Move", and ELO but between them they formed "Wizzard" and bizarrely ELO part 2 which was just ELO but well I guess a little bit more zest.
Not only was the music of this band legendary but so was their logo which in my opinion is the greatest band logo ever. It is styled on a old jukebox speaker, and is truly fantastic. It is at it's best when it was turned into a space ship for the album cover of their greatest album (in my opinion) "Out of the Blue" the reason for this album been the best is because this album not only contains some of the greatest songs they ever released but it contained "Mr. Blue Sky" which is not only my favourite ELO song but one of my favourite songs of all time.

They split up in 1986 as the hits and most of the original band had dried up, although it wasn't for ever as in the year 2000 Jeff Lynne one of the 3original founders reformed the band although with a completely new set of musicians. They have released a fantastic 3 disc set of remastered tracks with some unheard numbers.
As yet no more albums are on the table but you never know with a band as bizarre as this one.
For anyone who hasn't heard of ELO or listened to them then I would advise you to listen to "Out of the Blue" as that album is amazing. And if anyone watches the great "Densha Otoko/The Train Man" then you should now the opening song "Twilight" is by ELO.
Anyway this was my ELO blog you were great Good Night and good luck!
