Clue; the movie! I know it sounds like a really bad idea to base a movie on a board game. But in this case, it's really funny slapstick black humor that completely forgets it's laminated-cardboard-self, while still keeping some common elements with the original: The suspects, the rooms, and the weapons. Oh, and secret-doors.

Synopsis: 6 strangers are brought to the scary mansion at the top of the hill and given colorful psuedonyms. It's revealed that they're all being blackmailed and the blackmailer gives each of them a murder weapon. One of the guests promptly dispatches the 6-time blackmailer, and what follows is a crazy attempt to find out "Who dunnit?" and fully uncover the blackmailing scheme. Tim Curry's final exposition is a hoot! as he runs through the entire movie in 2 minutes, playing out every action and character. There are 3 different endings, and the audience can decide which one they like best. (I like first, third, then second.)

Stars: Tim Curry as the HILARIOUS Butler Wadsworth, Christopher Llyod (Doc from 'Back to the future'), and Michael McKean are the big stars, but the lesser-knowns are very funny too. 3 of the actresses are really pretty.
*I swear the cook is Kathy Bates, but the credits say it isn't her.

This movie has it's pros and cons. Even though it's a Cop movie, I like it. It builds up suspense and makes you question the motives of every character that isn't Morgan Freeman. On the other hand, the plot is over-the-top silly and contains some of the most unrealistic modern-day computer software I've ever seen in a movie. There are also 3 or 4 decent action scenes that are awesome.

When it's good, it's pretty good. But when it's bad, you'll be rolling your eyes and saying 'Cummon!' For example, the villain kidnaps one child in a bizarre scheme to kidnap a second child, who's kidnapping will lead the villain into infamy, Lindberg-style. It doesn't make very much sense, but it's definitely original. The script-writers could've used somebody that has actually used "that magic-box" (a computer) before, as well as somebody to plug up the plotholes. But the twists are unexpected, and you'll want to rewatch the movie to follow the underlying plot. It's a good mystery, and I would recommend it to anybody who isn't a Morgan Freeman fan. (I'm not.)

Overall, I like this movie. It's nostalgic and also features huge space robots that turn into things.

Wow, why is this a kid's movie? I mean, I understand the reasoning: a 2-hour movie designed to make kids pay for a movie ticket, and then they'll be so hyped they'll go out and buy all the film's toys.

It's just, some scenes are not for kids. One scene has bad-guy Megatron standing over a mortally-wounded good-guy and shoots him dead, execution-style. He'll later go on to gloat about murder and violence. That's not right..

IMO, there are 3 major problems: there are way too many characters to keep track of, the plot seems loopy, and I hate the characters that are especially annoying like human child or robo-fast-talk or Dennis-the-robot. Oh, and the main protagonist: he's painted hot fuschia, orange, and yellow; the 3 most horrible colors visible to man. (Hell is painted similiarly.)

I know everyone raves about the soundtrack, but I don't like most of the songs; they're too upbeat. The songs without words are cool, but the ones with lyrics aren't. The only song I really like is the theme, because it's got a wicked guitar solo.

The animation is alrite. It looks like the TV series. My main complaint is at the end when everything starts flashing green.

Anyway, this movie is chalk full of ideas from other movies: Marty McFly's hoverboard. Star War's Death Star, Princess Leia's hair, Luke Skywalker-archetype, Palpatine's pink lightsabre. Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy, starship bridge-seperation, Klingon Bird of Prey. Austrailian trash-collectors from Mad Max. Oh; and everyone in the future will dress like Travolta from Saturday Night Fever or Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story.

I don't understand how this movie ends happily; a good portion of the good guys are killed; both old and new, 2 moons are destroyed, and only 2 bad guys die. Not to mention there's an entire planet full of bad guys versus the 8 survivors from team good guy who seem to think the war is over.

Anyways, I'd recommend this movie for adult geeks or kids.

It's got some moments that are pretty funny, and it keeps the movie going at a fairly quick pace. It never gets lazy with the parodies, and everything is pretty well put-together. To date, Leslie Nelson's funniest character from this particular series. Also, it's a lot better when the cast has ethnicity, and this movie delivers here.

The plot is comprehensive, and mostly duplicates scenes from Spiderman 1 and 2. There's basically just 1 scene that's stupid, and only a few characters that seem kind-of pointless. Best of all, there's no random music scenes! and no corporate-suckling via product placements!

One could argue that some of the characters on the poster were barely in the movie. But really, who needs a Wolverine caricature anyways? Also, the big actors get very little screentime, while the smaller actors do a great job with a majority of the content.

I was laughing more than once, and I enjoyed myself. People would probably feel like it is worth $10 to see this movie. Please make the next movie more like this and less like 'MTS'.

This is a pretty good movie if you give it a chance. It starts out with the most hated woman in a small-town, Mona Dearly, driving her son's car off a cliff. It's quickly established that this car accident was no accident, and almost everyone in town had a pretty good motive to want Mona dead. What follows is a hilarious whodunit, that may leave you guessing until the last few minutes. There are a couple of logic gaps, but just suspend your disbelief and enjoy the show.

The cast is pretty good: Casey Affleck, Neve Campbell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Danny DeVito, Will Ferrell (minor role), and Bette Midler as Mona. There are a couple of actors you've probably never heard of before, but they're still funny. Somehow Jamie Lee Curtis comes across as the hottest lady in the film, while Neve Campbell just looks like a country bumpkin. (All though there are a few scenes with her that are side-splitting.)

It's kind-of a low-brow movie, but it's still pretty funny. I'd recommend watching it with family or friends.

Typical 90's sex romp. Follow the complicated lives of some young, twenty-somethings who live in a tropical paradise and go to college every now and then. This is a violent tale of secrets and lies, double and triple-crosses; with $6.5 on the table, only the smartest will walk away with the cash.

The movie starts out with two teenaged female students who accuse their professor of rape. It's revealed that this is just a scam to earn a huge settlement from one of the the wealthy student's mother. But not everything is as it seems. Actually, none of it is.

You won't recognize most of the small-time actors, except for Erica Durance who you might know from tv. Since she's the only half-decent actor in this movie, she has the least screentime.
*6 of the main actors are Canadian. I'm not ragging on them for being Canadian, but they're not very good at acting and they're not well-known enough to be starring in a 90-minute film.

The script is dry and emotionless, pointless and over-dramatic. If you've seen any of the 'Final Destination' movies, you already know half the plot. The other half is lifted from the first, very good 'The Butterfly Effect'; sort-of. To save money on actors, the main character can only time-travel back a single year instead of a decade. This makes the entire movie less epic. The character starts off noble enough by rescuing his friends, but then he starts time-hopping for his own selfish reasons, like to prank the mean boss and climb the corporate ladder.

Somehow the characters go from easy-going teenagers to a corporate shark, a seedy club photographer, a male sex slave, and a newly-wed couple in less than a year. There's maybe 2 scenes in the whole movie that are somewhat entertaining, but even then it's a stretch. The rest of the movie is moody, unrealistic, or unbelievable: Character gets shot. dying Character asks: What's going on?

Aside from being used as a regifting, I can't imagine this video being useful to anyone. For the love of anyone, don't make a third one!

If you can get past the first 10 minutes, you might enjoy this movie. The changes from the first movie are drastic and apparent: none of the original cast, only two of the original characters, and not a single recognizable Hollywood actor. Direct-to-video indeed. But once you get past the initial shock, it gets better. (Just pretend it's a completely different set of characters, not the two portrayed by Gellar or Phillipe.)

Some sections are very funny, and I'm not sure whether that was intentional or accidental. Most of the humor comes from the moron teletubby Cherie, and her random bubbliness. (She's basically a doupleganger of Selma Blair's character Cecile from the first flick. The main difference is Cecile gets a lesbian kiss, and instead Cherie gets off riding a horse.)

Unfortunately, some parts of this movie feel recycled, directly quoting lines from and/or replaying scenes from the first movie. Just because the first movie was great doesn't mean you have to reuse the exact same material. Also, since it's really apparent that the scriptwriters saw the first movie, why couldn't they keep the up with the plot continuity? In the first movie, it was made very clear that Sebastian and Kathryn never had sex, but in the second movie history is rewritten so that they do have sex. Makes no sense.

I'm not too sure how they managed this, but Kathryn's mother in this sequel shares a striking resemblence with Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played Kathrine in the first movie. Perfect casting. It's a shame Kathryn's mother is only in a few scenes.

Sarah Thompson is attractive. Very attractive. Unfortunately, Amy Adams gets more screentime, and she is.. not. Also, why does a prequel get the number 2 in it's name? Hmm.. But my main complaint is some of the subplots seem to peter out with no resolution, leaving you to wonder why these subplots were even in the film. Oh, there's also an awesome plot-twist!

Final word; it's on youTube, so watch it! (Or don't. But I suggest you do. This movie was declared 'too obscene' by Fox, so you know it's going to be entertaining.)

*It's not a parody of 'Meet the Parents', so this is a bad name. I think it should be called 'Three-Hundred'.

This movie is really weak. It's like an hour-long gay joke. For the most part, the plot is ripping off '300', littered with far too many poorly-thought-out movie tie-ins. And just in case you're a moron, it points out exactly what it's ripping off. It seems like every other scene is a mini-montage with some crappy song and a weak joke. I think I laughed once near the beginning, and I was stoic the rest of the movie. And enough brandnames already!!

**Nitpick: Some scenes were used in advertising but not in the movie. The scenes looked stupid so I am grateful, but I believe movie adverts should have scenes from the movie.

To be fair, this movie is (barely) better than 'Epic Movie' for two reasons. #1-This one is only 67 minutes long, halleluiah! #2-Unlike 'EM', at least 'MtS' realizes that it's piece of $$$t.

This is my review, which helps contribute to the viral marketing: Monster movie '08. Some parts are pretty scary, and will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. But it does have it's problems: -handheld camerawork means naseous viewers. -it's only 73 minutes long. -in general the cast is mopey, annoying, stupid, and unlikable. I kept hoping some real characters would come and takeover, killing all the weak characters.

The worst part of the movie is the first 20 minutes. It's the most boring, dry, generic crap ever caught on film. Summary: Imagine an entire loft full of average-looking white people, all with generic names like Rob, Jason, or Beth. They're throwing a roaring party, which looks to be about as hardcore as an elementary school dance. The bland characters waft back and forth spouting cheezy lines, like some kindof bad Soap opera, but the characters are near-identical and it's hard to tell one from another. As if that wasn't bad enough, the entire mess is being caught on shaky handheld camera by an inebriated monkey.

Thankfully, disaster strikes in the form of a giant monster, and various bad things happen, including the decapitation of Lady Liberty. (It's hard to tell what the monster is, because it's a huge beast and does a very good job of hiding in the shadows or behind buildings.) As the movie continues, the monkey/narrator films their doomed mission to rescue one of the character's girlfriend. In general, horror and excitement follow.

*A very large suspension of disbelief is needed, because it seems very unlikely that anyone would be both fleeing for their life and recording everything. Of course, there wouldn't be a movie otherwise.

This movie is overrated. I was expecting it to be a funny-break up movie, but it's not even kind-of funny. Uma Thurman's character is annoying on all fronts. (Which is strange, because as a child she seemed well-balanced, yet she grew up into a needy screwball.) Owen Wilson is a wishy-washy boy Lois Lane. The only likeable characters are Anna Faris and Rain Wilson.

At some points it feels like the dialogue and the characters are openly putting-down the premise of the movie, which seems self-defeating. Also, they've got not 1, but 3 superhero sex scenes, that were just-plain juvinelle and humorless. Why have something lame once when you can have it thrice?

The last 15 minutes were pretty funny, and the ending was good. Why couldn't the whole movie be like the last part? Except for the ending, I think I laughed once during the whole movie. It could've been funny, but I guess that wasn't what they were going for.

'Hypercube' starts off well-enough. Like in the first film, a bunch of strangers find themselves trapped in a cube-like room with 6 doors, almost no possessions and no idea what they're doing there. Note, the characters from the first movie were trapped in a prison that could actually be built, but now these characters are trapped in a theoritical, 4-dimensional cube. They're trapped in something impossible, is what I'm saying. (Where the first movie was somewhat realistic, the second movie crosses over into sci-fi.)

Anyway, the rooms teleport around, which is nifty; also, the reason the movie is called Hypercube. The booby-traps from the first movie have been replaced with a living cube monster that hunts the characters from room-to-room. Also neat.

The plot hits the skids about 40 minutes in, when it's decided that the 4-dimensional cube can replicate alternate realities, and as such alternate-reality duplicates start popping up. One guy goes nuts when he sees this and.. well, he acts like a generic man-who-goes-nuts would act. Also, if you have sex in the cube, you will turn into a quick-freeze mummy.

All-in-all, the movie looks pretty nice, it's got a whole bunch of weird camera angles, snazzy graphics, and high-octane action. But, the story doesn't any sense, and the ending makes you say "Oh, cliff-hanger, I guess they were hoping to make 'Hypercube^3'."

They took few elements from the first movie, lost most of the interesting ones, and glued some useless ones in. Watch this movie after you see the first one.

Plot: There's a whole bunch of drug addicts, and they're always looking for a fix. The guy dealing all the drugs hires one of the druggies to drive him around town, collecting supplies. There's also two cops who use the 'special', mentally-handicapped druggie to try and catch some of the addicts in the act. This movie is chaotic, I'm not sure how to explain the plot any better; there's a lot more going on, but this is just the general idea.

You might notice Brittany Murphy working as a stripper, Ron Jeremy tending a bar for some extra cash, and Mickey Rourke as the drug dealer running the meth lab. They also dyed Paris Hilton's dog green and named it Taco.
*I think the joke was 'Hey, it's a green furry taco'.

This is nineties' grungiest aspects made into a movie. Every now and then there's a drug-montage, complete with nineties music; a few songs are from Smashing Pumpkins. They've also got some smattering of obscene cartoons, neon strobe lights, close-ups of running car engines or crack pipes, and a fisheye lens-cover. All of these effects are used in the name of being trippy.

Another reason this movie is nineties; all the characters have got weird nicknames: Spider Mike, Cookie, Frisbee, Moustache Cop, etc.

This movie's just cracked out, and at the end you're left wondering 'What was the point in all of this?' Because of the adult nature of this film, I'd recommend it for adults. But, you have to have a sense of humor, or need something to watch at a party, or are very high. Hey, go for all three!

First off, they should never have tried to make a Hitman movie. Secondly, if they were going make a movie about a video game character, they should make the movie with the video game character. Instead, they tweaked the character, which is bad. People are paying to see agent 47 from the games, not a character based on him.

Don't get me wrong, it's an entertaining movie. It's pretty funny and action-packed. The part about 47 being betrayed by the Agency is reminiscent of 'Blood Money'. But in regards to the Hitman video games, this movie isn't very accurate. 47 would never adopt a sidekick, or openly surrender and be paraded through a crowded street. The parts where Hitman is just blowing the crap out of stuff or going ape$hit with UZIs is very unprofessional, and not very assassin-like. Also, there were only 2 or 3 disguises.

And in the ending; a proper Agent 47 would have tied up all lose ends. If every witness isn't dead, then 47's job isn't done yet. I'd recommend this movie to people who like Action films, and have never played any Hitman games.

I like this movie. Overall it's really funny, and packed full of action. And a couple of sad scenes. But there's a crapload of special effects. Of course, there are a few things I don't really like. Bottom line, it needed more Venom and less Sandman. Or, better yet, no Sandman.

The plot's pretty good, and it really tests the relationship between Peter and Mary. And when Spiderman turns into an Emo, jazzy, freaky John Travolta.. hilarious. It's so ridiculous and over-the-top, it's just funny. The story's solid, and even introduces Gwen Stacy as the blonde genius, and Eddie Brock as Peter's duplicitious photojournalist-rival. ..and some guy in a striped shirt as sandman.

The main problem with this movie is it has too many plots. And by that, I mean villains; there's 3 villains. I think they should've made Spiderman 3 either all about Symbiote/Venom/Eddie Brock, or all about Sandman. (And like they did in Spiderman 2, they could've been Harry Osborn a minor, secondary villain.)

I'm sure if you polled most Spiderman fans, they'd say Venom is a lot cooler than Sandman. So when they gave more screentime to Sandman than Venom, that's just a slap in the face. Random note: Topher Grace is a really skinny Venom, because Eddie's normally a quarterback, not a goalpost. He got the evil down, he just wasn't the right build for the character.

And I don't entirely understand Sandman's motivation; he mutates into a sandmonster, robs a bank, tries to kill Spiderman, and flies away at the end. Does he save his daughter, or what? How badly is she dying if she's been dying for 6 years? If he's been in jail all this time, who was paying her medical bills? Or his legal bills? And didn't Hydroman kill Uncle Ben?

But I'd recommend this movie for anyone looking for action, romance, revenge, or sand.

Overall, I liked this movie. It was pretty good. (Lots of spoilers, so if you want to be surprised you have to stop reading.)

If you're just looking for blood, guts and gore, than you'll like this movie. There was a whole new level of creep factor, because the opening scene has some forensic disecting of the villain; That was pretty gross, and normally I don't find anything gross. Also, another scene stuck with me; I'll just say: blades, face, push. The rest of the scenes were pretty standard Saw fare, so I'd give a low-to-moderate creep factor.

(I like the plot that involves Jigsaw's backstory. So anything I'm about to say about the plot doesn't apply to that.)

Now, if you're looking for plot, or a good twist, you've got another thing coming. This plot twists alrite; twists like a piece of spaghetti in a washer. This film follows some bland-cop-cliche as he tries to rescue some cop buddies. I mean, there's a whole bunch of randomness, but this movie doesn't have the same feel as it's predacessors.

The third movie ended with Jeff. Jeff had lost his son to a drunk-driver and spun into a downward spiral which sent his marriage on the rocks. Through Jigsaw, Jeff accidentally kills the judge, jury, and executioner responsible for his son's case. The movie ends with Jeff killing Amanda, then attacking Jigsaw, which accidentally leads to his wife's death. And, sadly, Jeff's little girl is somewhere, going to die soon. End of film.

Now, having said all that, it seems natural that Saw 4 should follow Jeff and his trial to rescue his daughter, what with the interesting backstory and all. Instead, Saw 4 follows Rijj, some no-name cop who feels sad that all the other cops are dying. BFD. I mean, they had so much going when they ended Saw 3, I don't understand how they made Saw 4 basically ignore/kill all those emotions/plot without a second glance, in favour of some stupid cop-motif.. .. So plotwise, Saw 4 would've been better; and made sense; if it had followed Jeff instead of Rij.

A lookback at the other films; first movie, the plot twist was excellently executed, you had no idea it was coming. Second movie, both plot twists were unexpected, and were good. Third movie, so many plot twists I can't even start. Fourth movie: the twist is, the bad guy is one of the numerous, nameless, uninteresting white cops in the movie. Not much of a twist.. Oh, wait, he was pretending that he was going to be executed, I guess that was a twist too. Out of the four movies, this had the weakest twist.

I wrote out a list somewhere of all the possibilities they could've used for the villain in this movie. At least 6 or 7 reasonable guesses. And yet, they chose some fresh character that didn't really do anything all movie. They might as well have gone to a grocery store, picked Joe Random and said 'Hey, you're the bad-guy!'

Still a good movie; I just think they should've reconsidered the whole cop-angle, because it was lame.

Wow, it sucks to be a character in this film. Let's go through the list: Dooku, hand chopped off then decapitated. Grevious, hand chopped off then organs melted by lasers. Mace, electrocuted, hand chopped off, than thrown off a skyscraper. Old man Palpatine, electrocuted and kicked around a whole bunch. Yoda, electrocuted, beat up, and forced to hide alone in a marsh for the rest of his life. Padme, knocked up then taken out by her pycho-husband. A whole slew of jedi killed with great surprise. C3P0's memory erased. Anikin, chopped in half, set on fire and left to die in a volcanoe. And don't forget all those little slices of jedi children lying everywhere. (Poor kids.)
*Obi-Wan got hurt a bit, but no scars or missing limbs, so I'd say he ended up best out of everyone. All though, he's gotta go live in a desert and talk to a ghost for the rest of his life.

Basically, this is the movie where all the main characters get killed, corrupted, go nuts, get horribly disfigured, or runs away. Except Chewbacca, ROWRRR! I'm sure you understand the Hamlet reference, because that play ends with most of the characters dead. Also, this entire situation of disarray is caused by one man's lust to rule a kingdom he has no right to. (Palpatine/Claudius.)

Anyway, enough of that. This movie is really good. Fight scenes, awesome. I mean, just seeing that one with Yoda makes the whole movie worth it. And the whole 'Hey, I'm gonna turn evil to save my wife!' plot is interesting. My one complaint is when the movie drags, it REALLY DRAGS.. after that first action scene is the worst, because it's about forty minutes of waiting for something interesting to happen, or the dialogue to pick up.

But I would recommend this movie. Out of the three most recent Star Wars movies, this is easily the best. (Overall, I'd rank it third or fourth in the whole series. Might be a bit better than ESB.)

To enjoy this movie, it is best to ignore every deal that is made between the characters. It gets very confusing trying to follow all of it, so don't bother. Just enjoy the fact that the characters keep siding/betraying their friends/enemies, and it gets so ridiculous that it's funny, which I think the writer's were going for. Follow the action and you'll have a good time.

(The one saving grace for me was I didn't have to wonder about the Sea Goddess subplot, because it was accidentally ruined by Wikipedia.)

All-in-all it's a very good movie, although one of the plots ended kind-of sadly. Full of surprises, and funny vendettas. If you look back to the first film, you might wonder how some of the characters wound up the way they did. Definitely worth the $10 you'll donate to your local theater. (And if you're of age, purchase some rum to drink during the movie.)

It's kind-of a strange movie, and by the end I've lost track of what actually happened and what 'actually happened', but it's a very good tension-building mystery. I sort-of tune out everytime the characters start rambling off way-too-many statistics about 23, but other than that it's a good flick. But I don't think Jim Carrey makes a very good obsessive, psychotic character; more of a Johnny Depp character. ... errr, 'Secret Window', never mind.. Still, Jim Carrey is too funny to be in such a morbid role.

Random Note: What are parents thinking when they name their daughter Agatha? You know she's gonna end up being a spinster with 30 cats or a blind wheelchair-bound witch-doctor; that is, after a very long life of being nicknamed 'Ag the Hag'. .. I'm just saying; Agatha isn't a very good name. How about Maureen, or Cassie? Spare your child a horrible life!

A very entertaining horror movie. Gore, dismemberment, and some of that great violence that makes North America cinema so ... Hollywood (?). This is what happens when a group of hypochondriacs avoid a grisly highway accident, only to freak out and accidentally wind up killing themselves/eachother within a matter of days. (Not to mention the fact that they convince a mental patient out of an asylum, only to be taken to an insane, lonely mortician.) I'd say it's better than the first one, but then I get hit in the head by a giant mallet (aka, the plot), so the first movie is better.

The plot really sucks. It's best just to plug your ears when characters are talking, because they are trying very hard to explain the convulated plot. See, instead of following the simple, good format from the first movie, the writer's decide to reverse engineer the whole process, to make it seem like Death is still cleaning up the mess from the first movie. (Why..? I dunno, the first movie had a good plot, but I guess they wanted to have a stupid plot in the sequel.)

Props to Clear River for being the only character who survived FD1.

Anyway, the nitwit characters seem to be able to interpret every nuance of their invisible killer force (aptly named 'Death'), yet when it comes to simple live-or-die scenarios, they all are rather dum. The characters are very easy to dislike, and when they eventually get bumped off you'll be cheering. (Actually, one death kind-of got me upset, because the character was entertaining.)

Yea, so grab some popcorn and a soda, and watch this movie! Funny, in a twisted way.

Some of the strangeness; Gun battle at a gas station, followed by explosions, riots, SWAT helicopters. Romeo mooning around the red light district. A cross-dressing, possibly gay Mercutio. Romeo + Exctasy ... .. Just a whole bunch of weird stuff. Not all bad, but not entirely... at parts it seemed like a bad crime movie.

If you have an open-mind, it's a really , uh, 'creative' interpretation of Shakespeare's play. (I watched for about 20 minutes, then I got freaked out and stopped it. .. That, and I kept mixing up Leonardo Demagio with the lead actress, because it's really creepy that he has the face and voice of a child.)

... On the plus side, the entire script is there, so you don't have to worry about some idiot script-writers cranking out another Hollywood 'gem'. Watch it if you're bored, but don't rent it unless you have a coupon that expires tomorrow.

It's really bad.

Nick's got to round up teenage drunkards, deal with horticultural-related crime, and chase a swan; hardly ideal, considering Nick's lust for the fast-paced crime scene of London. 'Hot Fuzz is the best cop movie ever made. Point of fact, all other cop movies should be burnt, because they suck. And, 'Hot Fuzz' is King; not just King of cop movies, but King of genre-mixing. I'd swear this movie was written by Robert Rankin.

It's funny, and random, and does all these quick close-up shots of door-handles when shifting settings. Not to mention it's got one of the best shotgun shoot-outs I've ever seen. And it's got all these references from 'Shaun of the Dead', which add to the film. And of course, return of this one old lady (referred to only as the c&&&-icidal maniac, or later on as the zombie c&&&-icidal maniac), as well as a few minor characters who crop up. And.. it also does that 'repeating script' thing that happens a fair bit in 'Shaun of the Dead'.

This movie is funny, and even if you can't always understand English, it's still funny.

Mezmerizing.. Wait, no, horrifying.. Awesome... bad. Stupid, that's the word. It's like an 80 minute trainwreck.. but you can't look away. I tried once, but I couldn't.

On one side of the fence, Borat is offensive to Jewish people, mentally handicaped, Americans, gay Americans, 7-year-old girls, white-collar snobs, and prostitutes. (But not African-Americans; Borat love them!) And I don't know 'bout you, but if I never see a fat naked Kazackstanian being chased by a skinny naked Kazackstanian again, I would be relieved. Too-much male nudity.

Yet on the other side of the fence, there's grizzly bears in ice cream trucks, rooster's in handbags, Pamela Andersan in a marriage sack, and Borat's (special) brother, who finally got out of that cage and with Borat's hooker sister. Not to mention Borat's wife: if you cheat on her, she will break your (wang) off!

.. This movie is wrong in so many ways it can't be good. It's like that thing with paint; if you mix in water with black paint, all you'll ever get is bad paint. ... Or, if you're open-minded, it's very funny bad paint.
