Hi everyone

Oh my gosh, its been SOO long since my last blog. Whoopsies.
Don't know if anyone else is like me, and LOVED nickelodeon to death when they were younger. But lately ive been remembering all the awesome shows that i used to watch like Clarissa Explains it all, Secret World of Alex Mack, Doug, Ahh Real Monsters, Angry Beavers, Rocco's Modern Life, Legends of the Hidden Temple etc. Anyway, I found these cool youtube video. Check them out HEREand HERE if you want, and remember the good times

On the topic of the 90s, since I have nothing much else to say, I'm going to post a cool thing i found for all those people like me, who pretty much grew up in the 90s, and miss it to death. - its quite long, sorry! lol.

So I hope everyone is doing really well comment if you wish always love them

Love Jess xx

[edit] This is for Brasslefrat (your comment inspired me ) - not my own creation unfortunately

YOU'RE A 90'S KID IF:

You can finish this [ice ice _ _ _ _ ]

You remember watching:
-Doug
-Ren & Stimpy
-Pinky and the Brain
-AAAAAAAH Real Monsters!
-Rockos modern Life.
-The Magic School Bus

You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"

You just cant resist finishing this . . . "Iiiiiiin west philidelphia born and raised . . ."

You remember:
-TGIF
-Step by Step
-Family Matters
-Dinosaurs
-Boy Meets World.

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You remember reading "Goosebumps" (esp. choose your own adventure)

When cops and robbers was a daily activity.

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time.

"Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" was both a game and a TV game show.

You know that Captain Planet is a Hero

You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular.

You remember watching Home Alone 1, 2 , and 3 . . . and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"

You remember those Where's Waldo books.

You remember Ring Pops.

Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them.

You played and/or collected "Pogs"

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere.

You watched the original cartoons of Rugrats, Power Rangers, and Ninja Turtles.

You remember when the new Beanie Babies and Talking Elmo were always sold out

You collected those Beanie Babies.

You know that Lambchop's song never ends.

You remember a time before the WB.

You collected all the Troll dolls

You remember wanting to sit on the orange Nickelodeon couch.

You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

You know the Macarena by heart.

You had slap braclets!

Before the MySpace frenzy . . .

Before the Internet & text messaging . . .

Before Sidekicks & iPods . . .

Before MIKE JONES . . .

Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX . . .

Before Spongebob . . .

When light up sneakers were cool.

When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.

When we recorded stuff on VCRs.

Way back.

Before we realized all this would eventually disappear.

Who would have thought you'd miss the 90's so much!!!!!

I remember the 90s
Posted Aug 10, 2007 5:40 am PT
The 90's were more my teen years. Shows like Buffy, Party Of Five and Dawsons Creek were the phenonemon. And you can't beat good old 90's music either! Only bad thing about the 90's is the tragic fashion sense! What were we thinking?

Oh my gosh, I SO wanted to sit on the Nickelodeon orange couch...and of course I looooved TGIF. And Pogs! I almost forgot about them. Definitely remember cops and robbers...and The Fresh Prince theme song...OH and Beanie Babies, remember the "collectible" ones, I found my Beanie Baby collectors guide last week under my bed and it said by 2006 certain beanies would be worth $250.00, unfortunately they're not!
I still know the Macarena by heart...haha...I had a tomagochi and I made those fortune paper things...
Love it

So I'm definitely old enough to remember all of it (though I wasn't a big fan of Rocko's Modern Life). I totally wanted to be on Legends of the Hidden Temple and Guts as a child and was obsessed with the idea that my family needed to go to Orlando so I could get on the tv shows. TGIF was freakin awesome as was Are you afraid of the dark? (I actually remember watching some episode when I was like 4 and screaming and my dad could hear it outside the apartment).

I loved Nickodeon when I was kid, in fact it was pretty much the only channel I watched most of the time. They had such great shows. Invader Zim for a favorite of mine but I watched a lot of the shows. Rocko's Modern Life was hilarious and Clarissa Explains It All was always so much fun.

Ice ice baby! The second that I read that I could hear that little annoying beat in my mind. Love this blog, I swear even though I was very young when the 90's began (1 year old in fact) I still remember everything on this list. Great blog!

Me and my friends talk about that all the time, like the show's we watched when we were little, like Doug...only the best show ever, rugrats, that beaver show I can't think of right now.

I collected pogs, we always made the paper fortune teller game, I had a giga pet, and furby, I still play my SUPER NINTENDO...it rocks the world.

Where in the World is Carmen San Diego...only my fav. game ever.

I'm proud to say that I was a 90's kid. I miss it. I remember me and my older sister used to go to the store to buy pogs and beanie babies, we used to trade with each other too. I watched shows including Dinosaurs, Rugrats, Doug, Goosebumps and most of the shows you mentioned. I remember the days when there were no sponge bob, no Ipod, no Xbox. I really miss the 90's. The Macarena was so popular, I remember at almost every birthday I went to, we did the Macarena. It was fun.
Posted Sep 13, 2007 9:05 pm PT
I definitely remember the 90s. I was in my 20s in the 90s. Some of the 90s was great! Of all the shows mentioned, I only watched "Party of Five". I loved "Party of Five". "Friends", "Frasier", and "Will & Grace" all started in the 90s. Those were some of my all time favorites shows (after "Gilmore Girls", of course!)
Posted Sep 21, 2007 12:04 am PT
I just realized I forgot another of my all-time favorite shows that was on in the 90s: "Mad About You." I loved that show! To me, Paul and Jamie had an ideal marriage!
Posted Sep 21, 2007 12:52 am PT

I remember all that stuff. It's a MySpace bulliten, so I've read it 234082304832 times. I remember TGIF! I used to sit down with my family and watch Boy Meets World every week. Ooh, and you couldn't keep me away from Nick, I loved the classics just as Rugrats. I still remember the old Kids WB shows like the Animaniacs.
