THEME

I don't know what I like more about the song, the part where it glorifies the greatest city ever or the fact that my future wife is in the song(yes I just called Alicia Keys my future wife)

1- Blueprint 3

Jay-Z has made a glorious legacy for himself by being one of the most successful mainstream rappers of all time. For the most part he has been able to still deliver high quality hip hop while still being the epitome of what a commercial rapper is. Thanks to albums like Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint 1 he has more than etched himself as one of Rap's Icons and Legends, and imo he is an easy pick for Top 10 rappers of all time, hell even if we wanted to be extremely critical anything less than Top 15 is just blasphemy.

SO that said when Jay-Z names one of his albums BluePrint 3 it had 2 really good albums to live up to. Now with the theme song that I picked most of you probably think I love this album. I don't. This is the single biggest disappointment out of all the Jay-Z albums. It's solid in some cases, but alot of it is just forgetable, very few of the tracks on this album are enjoyable(Hate, DOA, and ofcourse Empire State of Mind)...in fact Empire State of Mind is probably the only track I love, the other ones might just peak at 'slightly enjoy'.

This is easily Jay-Zs worst album. Diehard Jay-Z fans might be able to put up with it, but if you really aren't that into Jay-Z this isn't going to change your tune on that.

Short Review- FAIL out of 10

2- Sick

So I've had some coughing issues over the last 2-3 weeks. A little under the weather, the worst it has gotten is some fevers here and there. With my temp getting close to 3 digits here and there. For the most part I'm fine. I've been able to go to work and school, all be it I'm a coughing machine right now.

My girlfriend, my mom, my girlfriends mom, girlfriends sister, friends, etc have all been wanting me to go to a Doctor, but screw that. It's a god damn cough, it'll be fine the old fashion way

Besides it's actually started to break up and I've been getting better and better the last few days. Which means my Immune System and Blood Cells are a bunch of warriors. SO GO ME

But no seriousaly I'm not going to a doctor, that's just not happening....although the sickness has gotten in the way of certain things which is annoying to me

3- Batman: Arkham Asylum

So I beat it. Didn't really focus on the riddler stuff although it is cool. I actually enjoyed the Ghost of Arkham stuff way more. With that said Batman: AA is probably one of the best games out this year(although that isn't saying much). The combat while completely shallow and a button masher is intuitive, smooth, and for the most part well designed. All be it just pathetically simple. The boss fights in this game are sort of a letdown outside the stuff with ScareCrow, but the narrative is fun to get into, the Joker's epic one liners are just fantastic, the atmosphere is amazing, and the stealth aspects of the game are alot of fun, especially in the later portions of the game.

FOr those wanting a little bit more than just a quick Campaign(I got it done in about 8 hours), the combat and predatore challenges offer alot of replay value and competitive value for those that like to brag about doing something faster or better than your friends.

In short, if you are a Batman fan or have been looking for a good 3rd person Action-Adventure, just buy the game. It's really good for the most part and the stealth moments as Batman are just satisfying.

4- SUPERNATURAL Season 5

My favorite TV show is back on the air, and this time for what should be the final season. This season ups the ante with rising of Lucifer(aka The Devil). I expect this season to be the heaviest and the darkest of all the Supernatural seasons(allthough Seasons 3 and especially 4 were extremely dark).

While I don't like spoiling too much of these episodes I will say that if you have not gotten into this show....fix that situation. Go rent or find a way to watch the first 2 seasons at the least. Season 1 is the most simple and just decent, but Season 2 is where the show really got going and became a really good show. Seasons 3 and 4 are just flat out fantastic.

The Next Blog I plan on doing a hitlist of the hottest chicks to be on an episode of Supernatural. I know what you guys are thinking, that's alot of searching I'm going to have to do. I mean looking up google pics of some of these people, but it's ok I do this all to entertain you guys so I am more than willing to take this one for the team

5- New York City Part 1

First let me just say that one of my good friends turned 21 this past sunday(the 6th) and while the original plan was to take him to Atlantic City(we all live on Long Island, New York) we all said screw it and audibled into staying overnight in New York City. Specifically a few hotel rooms in Midtown Manhatten. Had the usual drinking(yes I was drinking while sick, and yes that probably didn't help), partying, and chilled in the city. Had alot of fun in Time Square. Especially considering it was Brazil Day.

For those of you not from the New York area, there's alot of random wierd nationality type holidays from time to time around these parts. The Big one I've always had to go through is Puerto Rican Day Parades and stuff since my girlfriend is Puerto Rican but we also have from time to time Brazil Day, El Salvador, and a few others. Anyway Let me just put it this way.

1- NYC always has good looking people
2- Brazilians tend to be good looking in general, and they have such Amazing Asses...Like good god.
3- One of my friends failed to get a number and that crap was hilarious.

All in all Go New York City. Alot of us plan on doing something similar to this again...you know...when I have money againd and I'm not sick

6- New York City Part II

This portion is going to be dedicated to the greatness that is New York City. From the surrounding Boroughs Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Bronx, to the greatness that is Manhatten. This is by far my favorite city(all be it I would love to see London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, etc).

From the amazing 5 star restaurants left and right, to some of the more awesome food places like Buba Gump Shrimp(yes from Forrest Gump). To the glorious amazing work of art that is Brooklyn Sty-le Pizza

Or be it the fact that so many of the legends and other big names of Hip-Hop are from New York(Biggie, Big L, Jay-Z, Nas, Rakim(LI boy I might add), etc

To Broadway, the Harlem Renaissance, Madison Avenue for you fashio lovers, Little Italy, to being the headquarters for the 4 biggest National TV stations CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox.

Rockefeller Center and ofcourse the place where the largest New Years Eve Party Happens.

Time Square

Then ofcourse there is my beloved Yankees and what is still without a shadow of a doubt. The SINGLE greatest sports related stadium/field in America. Not one other arena/stadium comes within shouting distance of Legendary Yankee Stadium

So much lore, glory, fame, riches, partying, boozing, and greatness has gone through this city. My love for the city is primarily dedicated to being born in Queens, celebrating so many different occasions in this city, and in general being a proud New Yorker.

This is to the Greatest City in this Country, and what is in my opinion the greatest city ever. I love this city, and should I ever become wealthy enough, you better believe that I will be living in Manhatten.

And for the record...outside of the Chicago Deep Dish. Every other state in this country sucks at making Pizza. YOU ALL SUCK at the highest level, and even Chicago's Deep Dish isn't up to snoff with Brooklyn Sty-le. For those thinking well there is a place here in Kansas that does NY sty-le pizza and its not that goo....shut up.

I live on Long Island, 40 minutes away from the city, and not one of the pizza places on Long Island can caputre the same greatness that is the Pizza in Brooklyn and Manhatten. Plain and simple Philly Cheese Steaks aren't as good as they are in Philly, and NY sty-le Pizz isn't going to be close to as good as it will be in New York.

So put it simply. I love New York

7- 8 Years Later

This blog will not end with the pictures of women, a stupid random fact, or questions. This final portion of this blog is dedicated primarily to those that were lost on September 11, 2001. I was lucky enough to not lose anyone, but that doesn't make this horrible moment any less horrible. It is a horrific moment for Americans in general, and a horrific moment for those of us that live in New York.

That's too bad about Jay-Z, I liked his earlier songs but I'm having mixed reactions with some of his later songs. Why don't you see a doctor, there's nothing wrong with that, LOL. Yep, Batman AA sure is amazing and still is replaying it for the challenges, and as the Joker. Supernatural is ending, aw, that's too bad, there are many great things about that show, I hate it when good shows end quicker than bad ones. Are those 3 things true about NYC Part 1, if so, I need to go there, LOL. But NYC does look amazing though, and I'm still jealous of that pizza. There sure is a lot of good things about that state, but the Yankees isn't exactly one of them, sure they have a great stadium, but I don't really care for that team, please don't kill me. Also, R.I.P victims of 9/11, R.I.P.

1. I would prefer Jay-Z's older albums over his new one. You're right it is pure weak sauce, or maybe it's his age?

2. I'm also feeling under the weather, I have been coughing out phlegm for the past week already and I had a soar throat a few days ago.

3. I still need more money to get this game

4. I've never seen SUPERNATURAL but I may check it out

5. Oh boy, you would know both of us don't see eye to eye for the greatest city in the world. At least Chicago is nominated for the 2016 games and you already know my stance for best tasting pizza

Yes especially Adrianna Lima and Giselle, they're both is hot stuff

6. Yeah well, do you guys have Kanye West, Oprah, Tyra Banks, Bone Thugs, ect...? Although 9-11 is very tragic, I plan to go to church or I may just stay home to pray for those that lost their lives in the WTC tomorrow.

Meh never really cared for Jay Z. Guess I'm just too old and old school. Real men don't go see the doctor.

FDR said that Dec 7th, 1941 would be "a day that will live in infamy" I believe Sept. 11th. 2001 would also fit that category. Very tragic indeed.Flight 93 went down 6&1/2 miles from my place so the events of that day are very personal to us. Somerset County is forever linked with Washington D.C and New York City.It is a day for pause and reflection.

A lot of games just aren't appropriate today.

The single biggest dissapointment out of all his albums? No way babe--that belongs to Kingdom Come. While BP3 isn't better then the first two, it did manage to give me over 4 songs that I love--so it was definitely pretty good to me. I don't understand why everyone disliked it so much. The songs I love the most are(We made history, On to the next one, Run this town, Empire State of Mind ,Hate and D.O.A)

Something I found really dissapointing about the album is that he features Drake on one of his songs, but doesn't give him a verse. Maybe he had a flashback of Eminem killing him on his own song(Renegade) and knowing his old ass will have even more trouble keeping up nowadays, he didn't want to risk getting outdid again by my Drizzy. = )

Anyways, good job--real men don't go to the doctor for that mess. Go get yourself a Vernors pop and some orange juice and continue toughing it out. lol!

Also, those pretty New York pictures remind me of how dissapointed I was this summer--I was suppose to visit NY this summer for a week or two. Maybe next time I guess.

DMX just spell dmx dammit, how elitist you NYorkers for not acknowledging the legend that is DMX

Jay's album is great I don't know why the hate and if you don't like it then listen to Fab's new album its dope.

I got a bit sick yesterday too lol and Im good today, just drink some orange juice or vitamin c.

BB AA is amazing but I didn't finish it yet I have to finish tis game cuz alot of games are coming I have to be quick.

NY looks and sounds awesome, I have to visit this great city.

And God bliss the dead from 9/11 and all good people we knew in the past.

and don't you ever mock Killerfist's new avy and sig because I made them or your ass will be kicked and your nose will be punched an your balls will be cut.
