I found Val quite annoying

Guess we will never see her ever again though now ubisoft have taken the franchise to other places. Maybe Cevat can bring her back in Crysis 2 as a guest character.

as for bringing her back - i'm all for it as long as she has the same skimpy outfit but that this time you can tie her to a tree to keep her out of the fighting - well, for starters anyway...

Yeah, I didn't like the part where you had to work with her. I actually thought the scripted humvee drive was the least enjoyable part, but yeah, she definitely narrowed your options on how to fight after that, as well.

She's not the worst instance of an annoying ally I've seen, though. At least she doesn't constantly run ahead of you into the middle of half a dozen guys and get killed right away, causing you to fail and start over. Those are the kind of allies you wish you could kill, yourself.

Yeah, JP that scientist in Stalker SOC was a bit like that - as you say if i could have shot him myself i was definitely up for that...
