it is a sad day today.

Captain Lou Albano was famous for the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and was also a manager for the WWF back in the 80's, he was 76 years old and passed away at his Mt. Vernon, NY home. he will be missed. he was awesome as Mario in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. he got his start in the 60's as a Tag Team Wrestler for Vincent J. McMahon ( Vincent K. McMahon's Dad ) in the 60's.

A wrestler than a cartoonist. It's hard losing some one with a tough character and a respect to chidren, in due to the cartoon.

I had no idea Captain Lou Albano passed away he definetely contributed greatly to the WWF/WWE and his Super Mario Bros show was alot of fun to watch. My heart goes out to his family and friends. R.I.P. Captain Lou Albano you'll be missed

There goes another person from my childhood-seemed like a good enough guy. I won't forget all the rubber bands he wore in his beard or his affiliation with Cyndi Lauper-may he rest in peace.
