And I've actually never met anyone who is particularly fond of them. Who's idea was it to put boss monsters into games, anyway?

I'm playing Pac-man World 3 right now. It's a great game, but I'm stuck trying to beat a boss monster that has nothing to do thematically with the rest of the game.

I wish there were a way to skip the boss and keep playing.

It's amazing, but it's true. I'm back in to gaming again after taking a few years off. I never really connected with the Xbox or the PS2. Somewhere along the line all the games got too dark and too hard for me. Sure, I dusted off my Gamecube to play Resident Evil 4 last winter, but when I was finished I felt as though I had nowhere to go.

But now with the Xbox 360 launch titles, there are suddenly some great games for me to play! Kameo, King Kong, Call of Duty 2 all really impressed me.

And the my little DS continues to entertain me.

It's nice to be gaming again.
