I had a bad day yesterday. As a matter of fact, it sucked. It started well enough. I caught the Nintendo and Sony press conferences, after missing the Microsoft conference the previous day(I spaced out on that one). After that, i went outside to mow my lawn. This normally isn't bad, but it was 90 plus degrees out. Typical Nebraska weather. This is why i hate July. Anyway, i finished the lawn, guzzled alot of water, then got in the shower, but not before peeling my clothes off. That's right, PEEL! I got out of the shower just in time for the 5:00 news, and i saw that there were thunderstorm warnings in the surrounding counties. Halfway through the newscast, the cable went out. It was nothing but snow on every channel. Internet was down too. Greeeat.

Now i have to call Charter, my ISP and cable provider, and i HATE calling these people. It's a chore! The lady on the other line said that they were having some kind of problem with cable and internet services, but it should be resolved in a few hours. I wasn't living by that statement. It was just an estimation. I've got no internet, and more importantly, no tv. The MLB All-Star game was on, and i didn't get to watch a single minute of it. And from what i heard, it was a damn good game. It went into extra innings! Son of a b****!

That's not all. During all of this crap, my town got hit by a thunderstorm and i had no idea it was coming. There was alot of rain, lightning, and high speed winds. At about 10:30, i heard a loud noise on top of my house. It was towards the front. I couldn't step out to look because of the rain and darkness. So i went to bed.

When i got up, i saw the cable and internet were working again. But i stepped outside and saw a large branch in the yard that had broken off my tree. That's what i heard! I looked up at my house and saw the rain gutter was damaged. You gotta be kidding me! Tomorrow, i'll have to get a ladder and see if i can fix the damn thing. I also need to inspect the roof for any other damage. With my luck, there will be

It was a good thing i mowed the lawn, though. I wouldn't have been able to do that for days.
