I've got 2 cats. Both are male, and i inherited them from my mom after she moved to Florida. She took 3 cats with her, meaning she had 5 when she lived here in Nebraska(It's a long story
.) She couldn't take them all, so i took in 2 of the 5 cats she had. Both are male, and they love to go outside, and do god knows what. They seem to like catching small animals and bringing them to me. These animals aren't always alive, though. Sometimes, they're not in one piece, either. Yeah
. I've seen things in my front yard that would make Hannibal Lecter blush. Mice, small birds, rabbits, even squirrels. As a matter of fact, i found a dead squirrel in my front yard yesterday. I took it and threw it in my outdoor garbage bin. Don't give me that look! It's a squirrel! Anyway, today i see another dead squirrel, in the EXACT same spot as the squirrel from the previous day! The first thing i did was check the date, as i thought i was in that movie Groundhog Day.
This is perfectly natural though. Cats do this sort of thing. I just wish it was less often, so i wouldn't have to pick up so many dead animals. I even had to dispose of a dead bat last week! That's no typo, folks. Bat. That made me shudder! These cats like people, though. They won't do any harm to me or others. AND, i've never seen a single mouse in this place, so when someone has a mouse infestation and their friends jokingly tell them to get a cat, they're actually right! Beats mousetraps!
For the record, i watched each of the big 3's conferences during E3. For some reason, i only got the Nintendo emblem. So when people see my profile, they're going to think i only watched the bad conference instead of the good ones. Let's face it, boys and girls, Nintendo's conference was disappointing and boring.
Speaking of E3, i've never been to one in my whole life, and you know what? I don't feel bad about that at all. Any recent footage of the E3 showfloor has shown about, what, a million people? It looks insane! I don't even like being in a crowded Wal-mart, so how would i be able to tolerate this? I'm surprised nobody gets killed during this show. I would have liked to have gone to an E3 during the mid to late 90's, when it wasn't completely out of control like this year or the early 2000's. Nintendo's booth wouldn't have you wave a remote around, Sony's booth wouldn't have people who can't sing playing a karaoke game, and Microsoft wouldn't have a booth to begin with, or at least it would be smaller if there was one.
You couldn't get me to go to an E3 now. I wouldn't be as excited as others, and there seems to be too much walking involved, which could hurt my back(long story short, i had surgery at 15 for a spinal fusion, which now limits my activity). I'm not gonna bash the show or say it's unnecessary, that would be a lie. I just don't think i can go through something on that scale. It's too much for me. Some can handle it, some can't. The ones who can handle it should be the ones to go.
That's all for now.
