I mean, does it count if all I do is watch old shows and Jeopardy? Basically I've just been catching reruns of Futurama, Family Guy, and Boy Meets World (which ABC Family moved from 3:00 to 2:00 to make room for "Grounded For Life"...what the hell?). Also, apparently TOON DISNEY, which I just got, reruns the old X-Men cartoons at 11:30PM, so I'll try to catch as many of those as I can (I got semi-obsessed with X-Men: Legends 2 for PS2 for a while...so long I think I wore out a new disk from Blockbuster, since I had to return it because it was freezing constantly. But I got a credit on my account, which means that in about a week I get to have it for another 2 weeks.)
Back to the point...yeah, I haven't really given a crap about any of these "New Shows." I meant to watch "My Name Is Earl," since I like Jason Lee, but I never remember to watch it. The only new thing I remember watching in the past week (I've only had TV for the past week or so) was the Insomniac Comedy Special, with Dave Attel, Dane Cook, Greg Giraldo, and some unknown guy who wasn't very funny. But Giraldo and Attel were suprisingly funny, and Dane Cook wasn't bad either, even though I think he's generally overrated.
That's about it...I saw Batman Begins the other day. I was pleasantly suprised. I really liked Gary Oldman as Gordon (I always have the image of his douchebaggy character from The Fifth Element when I think of him, but it didn't come to mind at all while watching Batman).

God, I love the internet. Which has made the past month so damn hard. I went back up to school, but our apartment didn't have cable/internet installed yet. So I called Time Warner cable on August 19, and they said they could have the stuff installed on the 22nd...SEPTEMBER 22. I was like "Dammit!" but there was nothing I could do...damn monopolies.
Anyway, I'm back. I wonder if any of the old people are still posting.

Yeah, my hard drive randomly crapped out a couple of days ago...it was running fine then started continuosly restarting. My sister's computer did the same thing because of a spyware infection, but for my computer it was just the hard drive deciding to fail. Luckily, I got my files off before it burnt out, and it was actually under waranty (I could have sworn there was a "u" in waranty, but it didn't look right when I tried to spell it with one) so they're sending me a replacement.
Other than that...I'm at level 7 somehow. If I'm this high, ilovedb and spikemanic must be at like level 14. Anyway, I'm going back up to school in about a week, so I've got to pack and get my own computer working pretty darn soon.
I also just watched Scanners, and it wasn't terrible. It was nice to break the chain of "Think a movie is going to be good, then it turns out the movie sucks." (High Roller, Soylent Green...some other ones, I'm sure)

I read "I Am Legend" and "The Incredible Shrinking Man" in 2005, and I knew that Matheson was an older writer, but the stories still seemed so current and relevant, like they were just written last year. So I was stunned to learn that "I Am...

Steve is one of the greatest niche/character actors of the past 10 years. In the same league as Christopher Walken, but he has been playing a wider variety of roles in the past decade...that is to say, he hasn't been quite as typecast as...

it7276 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could it7276 possibly have for not rating a single film?
