This is a blog I said I would write but didn't have enought time to do so. I personally feel both re equally good but not all would feel that way. Thus, I will summarize my views now.Let's get started.
One Piece
vs
Yu Yu Hakusho
First, One Piece;
It's a cool show. As everyone knows, it's the story of Monkey.D. Luffy, a boy who wants to be the greatest pirate and his adventures as he works his way toward his goal. The concept of pirates is original and it's cool in almost every way. It's got a good story, fair amount of humor,cool and creativetechniques and Devil fruit powers, and good fights and villainsas well: all the things that make up a great anime.
The primary limitation is: the plot is fairly cliched. Luffy goes island after island with his friends fighting bad guys and winning. But to make up for that, Eiichiro Oda has introduced cool villains with varying goals and techniques.(Crocodile's plan was to take over Alabasta, Eneru's plan was to destroy Skypiea and take Five survivors including himself to the new land, Lucci's was just to escort Nico Robin through the gates of Justice etc.)
Moreover, it's one of the few anime that still keeps people interested in spite of going on for a fairly long time.
Yu Yu Hakusho:
Another cool show.It has good amount of humour(by anime standards),interesting techniques good fights, and good villains(who could ever forget Sensui). This show kicks @$$. The one flaw I can find with it is the fact that the ending is rushed but that can't be helped.It's also the only show I've seen so far that has more than 100 episodes without a single filler.
Thus, I conclude that, in terms of techniques and story, both areon the same level. But overall, YUYu Hakusho is superior but One Piecehas the potential of surpassingit.
But, on a sidenote, both shows are individually way better than both Bleach and Naruto.

Anyays, that's OK, I'll probably come across some online subs for it eventually.With that said, I still recommend that you try watching Hunter X Hunter, Hikaru no Go, and Hellsing Ultimate (the OVAs), when you get a chance. They are really great series, although you should give both HXH and HnG a few episodes, because it takes a little bit of time for those 2 series to get really good (but its worth it, because they are highly addicting shounen). As for the Hellsing OVAs, they only have 3 episodes out so far, and their all great IMO, so I would give them a try, if I were you (although the episodes are usually longer than 40 minutes, each; also, there is a lot more blood and gore than what you found in the TV series, as well as what you would find in typical anime TV series in general). The only sucky thing about the OVAs, is that it takes a few months for a new episode to be released
(however, the 4th OVA is scheduled for release in October 
).

BTW, if you like shounen like YYH and OP, you should definitely check out Hunter X Hunter (and, in fact, its made by the very same person who created YYH, Yoshihiro Togashi; so you can expect it to be good, even though the series starts out a little bit slow). Hikaru no Go is another series that you should check out. Just like DN, its not an action series, but its highly addicting (and the manga for it, is actually done by the same person who did the artwork for DN, so the character designs look extremely simillar; and Isumi looks a lot like Light :shock ; perhaps his character design was a prototype for Light's
As for the series you recommended to me, Jigoku Shoujo, I have yet to find any subs for it, so if you could give me a link to where I can watch it online, I would really appreciate it
