Today was very, very, very aggravating and I don't feel like getting into it, but I'll give you a quick overview.

I thought my parents died

I had 3 tests and I have another 4 tomorrow

I was running around the school

My teacher lied to my FACE (something I don't take lightely)

I got sent to the principles office

I wasted an hour of my time because my teacher was too much of a coward

Blahh

Anyway, which candidate are you rooting for? Everyone has their opinions, so please don't be obnoxious. I'm just curious. Personally, I'm for McCain just because I hate Obama so much. What about chuuu?

PEACE!

-Isabel

Read about what happened in the offtopic thread. That teacher really does sound like pain in the ass. Considering I'm not an American I don't really have an opinion on who becomes your leader, but as long as he is not like Bush rest of the world would be a bit happier

It's no good you had a bad day

On politics - I'll be quite frank - I love American politics. Australian politics are so dull - the stuff over here is actually exciting to watch.

As far as politics go, I like to consider myself a neo-populare: fairly radical, but not overly so - more in the middle than either left or right.

Coming down to a question of Obama or Mcain, I'm undecided. It is apparent that Mcain has the vastly greater experience, while Obama definitely has the youth and energy reserves. Both are obviously highly intelligent men who would both make their mark.

You should punch that teacher too if given the chance...Anyways, I'm for Obama. I too despise McCain's opinions and this so-called "Change" he says is gonna happening(So copying Obama's words)

to Pablo...ummm wasn't it Obama that was all more "Change"?

I hate Obama, sorry to Obama lovers. I just can't stand him. I don't really like McCain but he's better than Obama.

McCain is another Bush, he Belives in 90% of bush's policies, If McCain gets elected the next 4 years will be same as the last 8 years of horrible leadership! NO MORE REPUBLICANS IN THE WHITE HOUSE!

FOR REAL CHANGE THAT EVERYONE CAN BELIEVE IN! ~OBAMA-BIDEN 2008~

I'm taking an active interest in the US election despite being in the UK.

I'm not a huge fan of either candidates. I disagree strongly with several policies put forward by both candidates. Obama's Iraq policy is irresponsible, I've never supported the war but what he is proposing is just wrong. His healthcare and social policies are a step in the right direction

McCain is in some ways is a better candidate, however, he has to draw support a from the conservatives and so will have to make concessions to the right I'm probably biased against the Republicans anyway but the Republican ticket seems fairly hot-headed and if the Democrats can deliver on their promises then I think it will be a good thing for your country.

Honestly, I'm sickened by both of them. I feel like Obama, though, will be a train wreck. In his years in the government he has done next to nothing. But I'm a democrat, which makes this hard. I feel like McCain knows the risks, seeing as he was a war prisoner. GAH. Where's Hilary when I need her?

That would upset me too.

Your teacher sounds harsh.

I shybabe usually do not like to discuss politics on here, as I'm afraid people might label me and/or think differently about me than they did before and stop tracking me or something. At first, I saw little promise in either canidate, but as I became more informed I was able to see who would follow my values more so... McCain I GUESS, but I really am not a politics person! I can't even vote!

Both kind of having MAJOR weaknesses. Gah. I do like Palin, though. Obama's VP pisses me off.

I will have to argue with you there, Isabel. Palins wayyyy to right wing for my taste XD Shes crazy...in fact, theres a great facebook group about her: Sarah Palin Is The Next Dolores Umbridge

You thought your parents died, huh?
You did have a bad day.

EmoHaruno: ROFL. Dolores Umbridge was epic. I've been raised to always do everything to the extreme. I don't hold back anything. Neither does Palin and McCain. McCain tells it like it is, and that's what I want. Palin might be crazy, but I need that. I want over the top. That's how I grew up, and that's how I want the country For instance, you've been waiting for a couple minutes until this car backed out of its space. Just as you're about to go in, another car cuts in front and gets the car. I don't want someone who politely talks to the guy who took your spot, I want someone to honk their horn so many times it annoys others. THAT's the guy I want in the white house. You just can't talk to some people in this world. But, that's just my opinion Kelalala_121: We had a lockdown on 9/11! Can you believe that? They refused to tell us why. And we were just talking about 9/11 and how they refused to tell us why we had a lockdown. Kids in my class started crying. I thought that maybe the terrorists decided to attack on 9/11 again, in the city, just to prove that they can. But it was only because some kid got stabbed.
