Hola guys. meleeman here again with a blog about the goings on.

I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty 4 lately because my Xbox Live Account is still offline for the time being. I picked up some achievments like beating that training thing in under 20 seconds and getting all the intel items, and since then I have been having an absolute blast playing around with the cheats. It's hysterical and awesome. Other news in gaming consists of me buying Super Metroid to play it (for the first time ever!) off the VC soon, but I don't know when yet. Also, since Battlefield Bad Company is less than 20 dollars brand new, I'm definitely getting that like...today, possibly. I'll beat the snot out of the single player and by the time I'm done I might just have XBL back Can't...wait...

I finished Ender's Game a few days ago. That book was SPECTACULAR. If I didn't have a reading list longer than my leg, I'd pick up the sequels, but that'll have to wait. In the meantime, I finally picked up Generation Kill, seeing as it was next in line. That book is simply outstanding. Hysterically funny, but also very impressively written and, simply, gripping. I'm definitely looking into the show when I'm done, it's supposed to be wonderful.

I have done much in the way of writing lately, though seeing as I have 5 projects partially completed or not yet started I don't know what I'm waiting for. Patience buddies

Other than that, meleeman's just been chilling. Mowing a lawn here, vaccuuming there, cleaning a room everywhere, running this way, working out that way...the usual. Only, minus the school thing. It's such a relief...I just wish I was able to go see all those summer blockbusters coming out. I haven't seen Up or Star Trek yet, and there's a bunch more coming out or already out that I'd like to see...but one thing at a time

Oh, one other interesting thing I've been doing is working out the details of transferring all our old homevideos to DVD. Dad bought the recorder so it's my task to figure it all out, tell dad what we need to buy, and then do all the transferring when we have it (which is why we're going out later today, to buy the DVDs). In exchange for the tedium I'm going to end up putting up with, he's taking me shooting twice, so that'll be sweet. What I hope to do is shoot that USP again and also shoot the P22 as well. Maybe even a revolver? Who knows. I'll keep you posted on that as it rolls around.

That's all I got. How's life for all you guys? Leave a comment, tell me what's up.

Until next time, I've been a running-out-of-things-like-this-to-say irmeleeman5995, and that is (certainly) a mouthful to say!

Ender books are great. The Bean sequels (like Ender's Shadow and all of its series) are very solid, good sci-fi. Ender's side of the story isn't quite as interesting.

You haven't played Super Metroid yet?
All I got to say is that you have an amazing experience in front of you!

It can't be thaat hard to figure out...right?

@Aberinkulas: Oh the sequels are about Bean? That's cool
@Pierst179: Yeah..heh heh about that...I've played almost every other Metroid there is, to DEATH, but not SM or Metroid 2
@Foolz3h: Nah it's not hard he just didn't know specifically what we needed to buy disc wise. Now that we know the real task is TRANSFERRING it all, which is easy but just busy work. Or so they tell me. I'll find out soon

I'm glad you're enjoying Call of Duty 4! Heh, I still have to play more of Super Metroid myself. I've only played part of it! That's cool about Ender's game though. We had to read it in my English class last year, though we weren't able to finish it by the end of the year. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I expected; but I think I'll go back to it to give it another shot.

When are you going to get XBL set up again? My connection is actually forgiving me this time, hurry before something jinxes it!!!

@Darkmagcite: Yeah it actually lived up to all the praise I had heard of it before I read it. The funny thing was I came close to reading it like three years ago, and I'm glad I didn't because I wouldn't have understood or appreciated it enough.

@Spongemario: SOON I PROMISE
