This morning, I went on a sponsored walk for my school. I mostly went because my teacher was handing out extra credit for going there. Also, free T-shirts. The downside is, I was really, really drowsy when doing it. I only slept for a couple hours the night before. So... yeah.

Since the last blog, I've found some stuff from the news that's just really stupid and nonsensical. Like, those Dunkin Donuts ads getting pulled just because Rachael Ray wore a scarf that kind of looked like an arab headdress. Then, there's the story about Christian groups trying to change the logo for Starbuck's Coffee because it looks "suggestive" and "obscene". Honestly, what's wrong with it? Yeah, the original logo isn't really family-friendly. But, I don't think that most of the customers are aware of it.

Oh, and I saw the Dollhouse trailer. It looks good. Initially, I was kind of confused about what the plot was going to be about. But, it looks promising. Hope this ends up being another hit for Joss.

OBEY TEH DUCK-MUFFIN!

Also, I have to go through another round of MCAS this week. This time, it's biology. Still, biology's not that hard. So, good night and have a great June 1st.

Hi,

Being active after a bad night can be really hard, glad you were able to make it though.

That sounds really idiotic... I haven't seen the commercial nor do I know the Starbuck's logo that well... but isn't it a girl with stars? I mean how can that be offending?

Very hopeful for Dollhouse .

Be good.

Can't go wrong with extra credit and a free t-shirt.

Good luck with the MCAS.

Dollhouse looks fun. One of my 'must see' for next year.

I don't get the Rachael Ray thing. You'd think she'd be reaching a new demographic with that fashion statement?

The Starbucks thing sounds like something that belongs on Snopes. When there are obvious media shows to protest like The Golden Compass, I don't see why Christians would bother with Starbucks unless they're into that urban legend "Proctor and Gamble = Satan" idea.
