today we found out that a kid in my class has bone cancer... and i cant believe it. i almost cried several times throughout the day, because even though hes not the best student hes really funny and hes a good guy. so can everyone on tv.com who reads this pray for him... he has to get better, and my teacher said to believe in the power of prayer and good energy. i hate to think of him in the hospital... so please, pray for hank to get better.

okay so they thought it was bone cancer, but now they know its non-hodgekins lymphoma... which means prognosis for recovery is very good

another update: its been several months now, & i think its finally safe to say that hank is recovered. his hair is growing back (no more chemo) and with a tan from the summer he looks a lot better than he has in a while. thanks for everyone's prayers, they worked wonderfully! im just glad that with everyones support he is for the most part better

(unfortunate) update number 3: for everyone who has been following the story of my former classmate, he needs your prayers now more than ever. after seeming completely cured over the summer, he had what i believe was either a relapse or a different form of cancer (communication is hard now that we go to different schools). hank was in critical condition a few days ago but thankfully began to breathe on his own again... still, close call and i would really appreciate any support. lets all hope he makes it!

this will be my last update to this single blog: i am very upset to inform you all that my former classmate passed away a few days ago. i am still in shock and cannot comprehend the idea, it seems so ludicrous. he was once so full of energy that no one ever imagined things could turn out thisway. i am glad that i had the chance to say goodbye (wrote him a letter since he was at children's memorial in milwaukee)... but the funeral will be so hard on all of us. i just cant believe that something so horrible would happen to someonemy age and i ask you all to PLEASE remember hank & his story in your prayers and actions. he will never be forgotten, and maybe one day they will find a cure to prevent this happening to anyone else. he was loved and will be missed. ='[
