You can pretty much expect that the book is always better than the movie...it's just how much so is the question. This movie seemed to be rushed and the acting wasn't very good. The movie skipped A LOT of the background info that the book had that made the story of Eragon...Eragon. I also can't believe they changed the final fight sequence in the movie. It was a shame...I wanted to see the book's ending translated onto the big screen.
