Ha, here's something I havn't done in a long time, video game reviews. Actually sitting down for a while and taking the time to write up a review is something I use to enjoy quite a bit, but have gotten away from. Just here on gamespot it's been about a year and a half since my last review (Assassin's Creed) but today that changes. I've reviewed three games I've played through recently and give you a taste of what I thought of them. As with all of my reviews I try very hard to keep any kind of spoilers about the story out of the review and instead focus on what I thought of the experience and technical heights of the game.
I've reviewed:
Ghostbusters: The video game (PS3)
Please take some time to read through them and let me know what you think thanks.
Once I finish inFAMOUS I plan on a review for that too.
So I finially did it, I got around to buying a 360. It's something I've been putting off, not wanting to spend the money on a new system as I've got a PS3 which does for nearly any game I want to play. However, it's Mass Effect that finally pushed me over the edge to nab up a 360 (as I feared my PC wouldn't run or run badly the game).
I walked into ebgames, picked up a copy of Gears of War and Mass Effect, went to the counter and asked what bundles they currently had for the 360. Settled up on the black Elite pack which came with KungFu Panda/ Lego Indy AND and kewl promotion going on atm, a choice of another game (a few titles were listed) one of which was gears of war! So I got Gears free
Also threw in an extra controller with charge kit cuz I knew I'd need it.
Thus far, the machine is working like a dream. I gave Gears a go, but didn't get far before I left it for some more inFAMOUS (gawd that game rawks). I left Mass effect alone for just a bit and when I had enough searching for shards in infamous, I decided to throw in Mass Effect and get into it... sigh, was that a mistake? lol, I've been spending just about all of my free time since then totally engrossed in the world of Mass Effect and loving it to death. I'm not quite finished (have about 24 hours played) but I've already rated a perfect 10 here on GS... I just can't immagine it getting to a point where I'd think less of it. AMAZING GAME.
Here's a pic of my character, Kess

+ More on MotorStorm: Arctic edge - still looking great
+ PSP Assassin's Creed detailed a bit more - Coming in November
+ PSP dev kit - price cut. Interesting. Sony cutting price of PSP dev kit (used to make games for the PSP) by 80%!! Meaning it should appeal to more devs for more games.
- PSP Go! Looks sexy I want it... but I fear the 16gb won't be enough, my old PSP UMD games will not be available for a while (as downloads), I won't be able to get it online where I'm living now... so it's a future purchase maybe.
PS3:
+ The Last Guardian - Team Ico's newest... JAWDROPPING!!!
+ Uncharted 2 still looking great, got to see it in action - intense

+ Bayonetta in action looked incredibly awesome!
+ Brutal Legend still looking superb, Ozzy to make appearance
+ Final Fantasy VII coming to PSN and 50 more PSX games promised this year!
+ White Knight Chronicles coming to US soon.
+ MGS: Rising - no snake? No Kojima? We'll see.
- Not much about DiRT 2... just a trailer I believe.
- Borderlands - I really just dun care anymore

+ Alan Wake looks retarded! I LOVE IT! Can't wait!
+ Project Nataal - Kewl idea, didn't dig the demo of the lady shooting balls... but the Milo stuff by Molyneux's team is quite possibly the craziest kewlest thingyest everest! It's SeeMan all over ![]()
- Halo 3 ODST - Not a halo fan to begin with and hated the amount of hype around it
- Forza 3 - IMO GT is still gawd of sim racers and the team behind forza can talk it up all they want, GT is still that shiny pie in my books.
