Morning all, welcome to Monday. Hope you all had a nice weekend. Apart from dropping off my other half at the station to catch his flight to Croatia and watching the Under 9s play cricket (they beat their archrivals by 68 runs!) I mainly spent time doing chores, mucking around with Facebook and continuing the mammoth task of updating the GMTV Today guide. Now that I've done all the episode pages and about 75% of the cast I'm finally starting to feel I'm getting there. I'm determined to get it finished by the end of the week. I also got The One Show fully up to date - the first time that's been the case for a long, long time.

I forgot to watch episode 2 of Chuck last Tuesday so I'll have to watch the repeat (think that's tonight). I did watch another episode from the season 2 DVD of Pushing Daisies though. Watching TV live just seems such a struggle these days. It's so much easier to watch things On Demand or on DVD or downloaded or whatever. It seems the only live TV we watch nowadays is sport. Talking of sport, I hope the rain stays away from Wimbledon, it's looking a bit grey out there.

Let's get the week started!

anmakus: Thanks! I wish I was in Croatia just now, though they are working not on holiday (or so they say!)

I hardly ever watch anything on TV (it's either sky plus or streamed from online these days!) - It's awful but if it's not convenient I just don't seem to keep up with anything! Hope you manage to sort out the GMTV guide, have a good week

badgersmuffin: I'm just the same, for ongoing dramas and so on I find it hard to remember to watch at the scheduled time so nearly always watch later on Catch Up TV or online or similar.

Hey!
Its really weird because the adds on the first ep of Chuck enoyed you, as they did me and now you missed the second ep, like me! Ha I was wondering when the repeat would be, thanks! I never watched Pushing Daisies but heard it was pretty good. Might give it a go sometime! Have a good start of the week

You missed Chuck? How could you? Oh so I take it your sons team won? Yay that's great news! The weather is crap here in London right now lol.

charmed1102: It wasn't the trailers for Chuck that annoyed me it was the ones for The Life of Tim (or whatever it was called) that took up so much time before and during Chuck. I could do with a reminder for Chuck but it's shown on Virgin1 and I don't watch anything else on that channel.

vman85: I love Wimbledon and I'm hoping Andy Murray's going to be our first men's singles winner for over 70 years! Must be the best chance he's ever had now Nadal's out. I hope he meets Federer in the final.

LadyInque: Thanks! I've still got a lot do and watching Big Brother, BBLB and Wimbledon will also take up a lot of time. Plus my normal domestic duties, cooking, child minding chauffeuring etc.

winterbehaviour: I know, I know! My schedule's all over the place. Watching live TV's getting more and more difficult. I may have to buy the DVDs. Yes, the team won and by a huge margin too. Tonight there's an Under 11s game so fingers crossed for the double.

I agree that watching tv is a titanic task, even more depending in what country you live in. I for sure catch up online faster and easier. Good luck updating the GMTV Today guide. Hugs

even though i spend a lot of time watching shows (on my computer actually), i hardly ever watch any tv except from the news because i hate to have to stick to schedules ...

Yay for your son winning his game! Is Croatia nice? I only know what I've seen on the news and that was years ago during the war. Good luck on finishing GMTV Today. I took up the task of writing recaps for Harper's Island, 4 submitted and accepted, and still have 3 to go. I do them best at night for some reason. I love my DVR, TV seems more relaxed when it's on your own pace.

That updating sure does sound like a lot of work. I've heard of Pushing Daisies but not seen any episodes. The rain sure hasn't been staying away from my area, its starting to get me aggravated.
