Today, I write with a heavy heart, about the end of an era. The end of a HERO. THe end of the Harry Potter series. Although it went out with a bang, no unsolved questions left to ponder (like the Sopranos ending), the epilogue was too happy, and everything was too perfect. You know as well as I do that NOTHING in Harry's life ever turns out that perfectly. I, for one, am ecstatic that Harry survived to tell his tale, and destroyed He-who-must-not-be-named before ending the series, but couldn't there have been even a bit more gloom and doom? Oh, well, whatever. Here are my TV show reviews of the week:
PSYCH: Psy vs. Psy
In this episode of USA's "Psych", Sean encounters a threat to keeping his secret, when another psychic shows up at the scene, who is apparently better than him. Along with psychic Lindsay Liken, a federal agent and his stenographer come to Santa Barbara, following a counterfiter. Of course, Sean is victorious in the end, and beats Lindsay at her own game. But along the way, Sean doubts if he should really be in his field of work, especially since his father is pushing him to quit. It was a good episode.
STANDOFF: Severence
This review may be a week late or so. In this episode, dueling spouses fight about everything they can think of, and along the way, each takes a hostage to get the other to back down. Not one of my favorite episodes, but on the bright side, Emily and Matt get back together (after a very short time apart). Of course, any Standoff fan knew that was coming, because they could not keep working together the way they were, and the writers could not let Matt and Emily go their separate ways either. I pretty much hated this episode. There have been SO many better!
XOXOXO- Regina
In the wizarding world, instead of finals, we have owls. Even though I am not officially a student at HOgwarts (yet) I am planning on taking the OWLS independantly, so that I can work as an Auror one day. I'm studying like crazy right now, so I cant really talk.
PS im talking in a heavy southern accent
Love you dani!
