I was tagged by Nintendoboy16to blog 10 interesting things about me, so why not, here we go...

1). I guess I will start off easy. My user name origin. Horsey-because I rode for at least 7 years and have loved horses my whole life, and Jesse-because my name is Jessica and for short people call me (duh) "Jesse". When I was younger I demanded it be spelled "like a a boy" and scolded any family member or friend who wrote "Jessie". I was a huge tomboy. I did learn not too long ago though that my parents had wanted me to be a boy (before I was born) and had planned to call me Jesse. They got a Jessica instead

Here is a pic of me on my horse during a show

2) My favorite Disney movie (or really any movie) growing up was The Lion King. I knew it word for word. I think that this caused the intense adoration I have for big cats, especially lions. My dream job would involve working with these animals. Ultimate dream job- running a big cat sanctuary.

3) When I eat chips, especially out of a bag, I only use my right index finger and thumb. It only allows me to grab one or two chips at a time, but I have to do it because to limits the amount of chip residue I get on my fingers. I hate chip residue on my fingers. A few of my friends tease that this is some weird OCD tick I have.

4) Everytime I see the fireworks show at Disneyland here in Califronia, I cry. I am not (usually) a big crier, but the Disneyland fireworks get me everytime. I think it is a combination of my childhood love of everything Disney and my adult research driven knowledge of the man, the place, and the company. I have written as many papers as my professors would allow on Disney. Basically I have this super strong connection and when the fireworks play with all of the voice overs and effects, it gets to me. Silly, but wonderful

5) When I get sick it is almost always in stages. One day I have a sore throat, the next day that is gone, but I have a stuffy nose, the day after that my nose is clear, but I feel faint, etc. Very rarely do I have more than a symptom or two at a time. If I do happen to have all the symptoms at once then I am massively sick. Like "don't get out of bed" sick. This rarely happens.

6) I love, love, love the Postsecret website. I find it highly fascnating and touching, especially when I feel like someone out there shares my secret. I have sent in a few postcards of my own which have been featured on the site. I will post a few here, only one card it mine, and I won't say which

7) I changed elementary schools in 4th grade. My teacher wasn't the nicest and I was super duper shy and sensitive. This lead to me crying almost every day, complaining of a tummy ache so I could go to the nurse. Once in the nurse's office, my mom would pick me up. How I passed 4th grade, I will never know. In 5th grade I had an awesome teacher and lots of friends. My school, however, hadn't forgotten the previous year and forced me to go to counseling once a week. It was a big waste of time and after the first half of the year I wasn't made to go anymore (they realized I was perfectly happy). I still blame that 4th grade teacher for all of that though.

One of the few things I am naturally good at is archery. I entered a contest one summer when I was a camp counselor and I won, despite having never used a bow before. I have since taken an archery c.l.a.ss at school, just for fun, where I was at the top of my c.l.a.ss points-wise. It is a hobby I would like to pick up when I can afford it.

9) I am allergic to pretty much everything. I don't mean food allergy wise, I don't seem to have any of those, but I react to any type of pollen, dust, weed, etc. It sends me into a miserable sneezing fit. My doc ordered an allergy test on me (not believing the severity of the allergies which I claimed to have...he was an a**) He was shocked when halfway through my test I had already reacted to everything. He wanted me to stop and resume the test at a later date, but I insisted on powering through it. He later apologized and offered me better treatment options for my allergies. The only things I really wasn't allergic too was animal dander- cats, dogs, and horses. Odd, but awesome.

Here is a pic of my back halfway through the allergy tests (the redness=crazy itchiness)

10) I am crazy about baking. I love baking anything from simple cakes, to bread, to going nuts experimenting on a new recipe. Maybe I will start practising and I can post some pics of video game related creations

Let's see, I have to tag people, right?

"I react to any type of pollen, dust, weed" - we all react to weed

The Lion King was my favorite movie growing up, too. Lions are great.
Good luck with that allergy thing though. I wouldn't have a clue, I'm not allergic to anything.

The Lion King was a great film. It was a shame the new films sucked.

I use my thumb, index and middle fingers. I love the chips, but I also hate the grease on my fingers. This was really nice. I think these kinds of things mean we find more in common with each other and feel a better sense of community.

u forgot to mention you are really... passionate.

I am scared to death of large animals. I avoid anything larger than a spaniel.

I loved The Lion King. Fantastic movie.

Archery? I would love to learn how to fire an arrow with precision, or to fire an arrow period. That is cool.

Looks like I'm gonna have to find 10 facts about me.

@tudyniuz aren't you just the comedian

@Slyfur Hopefully you stay that way then, I didn't develop allergies until I was in 8th grade, and my bother is just now getting them and he is 19

@nintendoboy16 the new Lion King movies or the new Disney movies? I kind of liked the new Lion Kings ones...but I may be a bit biased

@grigjd3 ya, a lot of people make fun of these kinds of blogs, but I've always liked reading them. Its cool that we kind of share the chip thing

@MsJoannaDark aw, thats no way to live! You show those bigger animals whose boss!

@Gen_Warbuff ya, I remember your blog about that. I went into the doc to ask about getting allergy shots. He didn't believe that mine were severe enough to warrant them (you have to get a shot a week for years and I guess he didn't think that would be worth it to me). After the test he changed his tune and signed me up to receive the shots.

@aChaChaCha Haha, I figure I might as well go big or go home Plus I had nothing else to blog about so... Archery really is awesome, I wish I could do it more

@Yagr_Zero I can teach you! Archery is so much fun. Its super competitive, but relaxing at the same time...kind of like horse back riding...maybe that's why I like it so much

Give me something cute and cuddly and SMALL. I have a thing for the short-legged ones, like corgis, dachshunds and munchkins.

It didn't tell me that you wrote a blog again. :kisses: I hate chip residue! Now you get to work at Disneyland yay, horses, fireworks, and Lion King.

We will live somewhere where you can have horses. I don't know about lions and tigers though.

Interesting facts, I don't really like the tagging thing though.

I get sick in stages, when I do get sick, which is incredibly rare.

Listing ten facts is a good way to get to know the person behind the avatar. Walt Disney is one of my heros.

@aChaChaCha Haha, sadly no awesome pics or medals, I have only won that camp contest (the prize was popsicles, if I remember ) and taken the class at school. Someday though...someday...

@Spire88 ...$500 bed sheets? what? Your "cold" is probably just allergies, take it from someone who has terrible allergies

@Sparda_13 I know, I love these kinds of blogs. I'm glad you feel like you know me more, since that was the purpose

@hank_101 I think its fun...at least on this site. When people do it on Facebook it bothers me a bit, but I think that is because I pretty much know everyone I am friends with on facebook
