Good morning, Gamespot.

I have redubbed, and changed my top list of Horror movies, to that more of my liking, after remembering some of these great cl@ssics from the past few years.

We will begin with number 20.

20. Halloween II (1981)

"More of the night HE came home."

Halloween II is the direct follow-up sequel to the 1978 original. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis again as the tormented Laurie Strode, the sister to the psychotic serial killer Michael Myers. On the same night the original took place on, Laurie is taken to the Haddonfield Hospital to be treated for her wounds and trauma from the horror she has just experienced. It seems Michael has now found where she is in hiding, and is on another bloody rampage through the Hospital in order to find her. This, in my opinion, is one of the greatest horror sequels ever, and was the last great film in the series before the dreaded third, and the rest of the senseless gratuitous violence in the later sequels. The Hospital's atmosphere was great, and was brought greatly to the big screen. It added to the momentum and suspense later on in the film with a few good chase sequences between Strode and Myers, and then it all leads off to one big showdown, and a great "ending" to the series. So, if you're looking for a great horror film with a great atmosphere, acting, and suspense, then by all means see this film.

I have just finished my Batman: Arkham Asylum review. It was a very good game, but I was disappointed I had to return it back to the video store, it was just that great. I haven't posted a review in nearly a month and a half now, but it seems I still have got it in me.

The review is now up:

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Well, thanks for reading everybody!

I've never seen any of the Halloween movies, but since I love thrillers as much as the next guy, there's no doubt that I'll be checking the first two out soon, especially the Rob Zombie remake, because he was great on doing House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, which are two of my favorite gorefests.

@dan_scfc-Thanks . Yours was great as well, I gave it a thumbs up.

@Bart247-The first 2 and H20 are the best ones, so probably stick with those. The remake was good, but its sequel was horrible trash...Devil's Rejects was amazing, and House of 1000 Corpses wasn't too bad either.

Not keen on the Halloween series, but well done on beating Batman. I love that game, and didn't want it to end

You know, I like Halloween II a lot and I have a heavy sense of nostalgia for it, but I dislike two things about it. 1. It introduces the lame family angle, thus removing all mystery from Michael Myers. 2. It is supposed to be on the same night but it feels extremely different from the original. Michael goes out of his way to take people out who are not in his path, he is far more brutal, etc. Of course, that was all in answer to the success of Friday the 13th, but the film never quite gels with me as being a two part story that many say it is. It does have a great atmosphere, but it is a different one. I love the reworking of the theme in the opening credits though.

Gimme a break! 20 horror movies and u just posted ONE a BLOG!!!? How lazy u r!

@Kleeyook-Lol, I do that so the people that follow my blogs, like yourself, will gain interest as the list goes on, instead of just posting all 20 in one blog, it'll just take away the excitement from the higher part of the list, and will just make it boring.

@Saruman1719-I agree with that, I also agree it doesn't feel right, but I'm thinking it's mainly because it's not by Carpenter again, and it was made in a different year...
