The games are thrown in to get more people interested in buying the console. I'd guess they are not new, not the top games, or both.

That is strange. I'm sure the games are horrible, but it's certainly a better deal.

That goes for the same for old ps3 models being the same price or more then the new 120G lol.

check the Gigs, when i went to GAME in the UK the ps3 with nothing was like 300 odd but if you got 2 games it was 279. But then i looked at the Gigs and the 300 pount one was for an 80g and the 2 games one was for the 60

@iowastate - I don't know what went wrong, but something did.
@LJS9502_basic - They aren't new, but not pre used either. It was GTA DLC pack, a Lego game and another one.
@Travo_basic - Except for the GTA DLC then I agree those looked horrible. One was a Lego game of some sort. (Like Lego star wars and so)

Are you kidding me? Gosh. Maybe it's just because of where you live.

It happens sometimes. A store wants to move more of a certain product and puts it on sale but doesn't put the basic unit on sale to compensate. It's kind of like when a blu-ray version of a DVD is cheaper than the basic version. They probably just got a command to get rid of the bundles and so they ended up cheaper.

What kind of games does the Elite bundle have?
