Actually, this is about Tails.

I fell in love with Tails back when I was 5 years old when made his debut in 1992 as Sonic's sidekick in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I was also a huge fan of both the 1993 cartoon series; the more comical Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog on weekday mornings, and the "way past cool" Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon on Saturday mornings.

I remember when Sonic 3 came out, and you can make Tails fly! That blew my mind.

Anyhow, eventually the shows stopped coming on, and other things (*cough videogameconsoles cough*) began to develop and become the new interest of young people like me. So I stopped keeping up with all of the Sonic stuff.

I am not a fan of Sonic X, in fact I had no idea it existed until a few days ago. I was indulging myself in the mindless humor of "youtube poop", of which there are many Sonic cartoon spoofs. I came across a scene where Tails looks like he's having a serious emotional meltdown, and I became curious as to what that was all about.

So I wiki'd Tails Prower and read about his love for this plant-girl-thing named Cosmo, and how he saves her, but then ends up having to kill her himself. (Yes, all my captions in my video came straight from wiki. No, I don't care) Having never seen an episode of Sonic X, I decided to download that one episode to feed my even hungrier curiosity.

I was somewhat impressed, and horribly...painfully disappointed at the same time. Surprisingly decent visuals, spine piercing voice-overs.... (and yes, I tried the Japanese version. Its no better)

Then I tried finding something made by a fan with the whole escapade put to some music. Once again I was disappointed. I got tired of Linkin Park (and bands that sound just like them) very quickly, especially when it was made to look like the characters were singing... Vomit.

So I made one myself.

This is for anyone who is not a fan of Sonic X and its painful-to-listen-to English dubbing, but can appreciate a somewhat decent storyline regarding an old favorite character.

Or, you can be a Sonic X fan and enjoy it anyways. Up to you.

I'm just learning how to use photoshop. This took me many hours, but I'm very proud of the results!

IRL this is me at my grandmother's house sitting under my favorite ficus tree. I used to climb this tree when I was little. I loved being alone, high up in the arms of this tree, pondering about life with no one to bother me. I loved being held by its massive branches, and I felt like the tree enjoyed holding me too. We communicated. We shared life and passion. It was just so welcoming. This tree means a lot to me.

A few years ago, Hurricane Katrina knocked it over. At first I was devastated, but then I noticed that the roots were still intact in the ground.

The tree is still alive. Just laying down now.

I still return to be hugged by its branches and ponder.

Corny, I know. I can't help it sometimes X_x
