Ah the summer, so far not a great time for games. Gamespot has been pretty empty, game info wise lately and that is understandable considering there are no games coming out. I guess the summer is our one true time to appreciate the games we have. Of course the problem I'm always having is that I just don't know which one to play. I have many games that I have collected over the school year and christmas and they are all excellent but know I just can't pick one to play. Should I go towards the RPG action off Guild Wars or the Shooter Action of Counter Strike : Source.
Maybe my problem isn't that they are all so good but all my games are in very distinctive genres. I have always wanted to finish FF 8 but I know once I start I have to keep going for 2 hours or so. Thats also the problem I'm having with Guild Wars, knowing that in order to get some good ground covered in the game I have to spend a lot of time into. CS:S is a good game to pick up and play, but the diversity isn't quite as there as in GW. Who knows, maybe I'm just makin a big deal out of this, or maybe I just ha;ve so many things I want to do I just don't know where to start.
I have always liked playing guitar, so I have always wanted to get really good at that. I have also wanted to be able to write my own songs, but it's a lot harder than it looks. I wanted to get all 1337 at CS:S and the same for Guild Wars, also to create a great guild to creat so kind of internet community. These game sites have always interested, in th way of its community. And I always wanted to really get in touch wiht something like that, you know find a place where I really belong. The list goes on of stuff I want to do but it is just really hard to find where to start. Maybe any who is reading this could drop a comment about this?
I rented Psychonauts the other day to check it out. Since I have the PS2 the graphics and framerate were not as clean, but I still really enjoyed it. I just loved the whole world you were put into. It all seemed so great. The superb voice acting really drew me in to the story, and it also wanted me to learn more about these great characters. The levels that you visited inside peoples minds werre also expertly desgined. They were all so different, so each level felt like an all new experience. I loved the levels where you were the gaint monster, and when you were in that messed up neighborhood with all the trenchcoat wearing people were everywhere trying to act normal. the dialogue was also the greatest I have seen in a long time. It was all really well done and very funny. I also had a good time with the clairrvoyance power, which lets you see through the perspective of the person you used the power on. Yuor character (Raz) becomes some very unusal things in tthe eyes of someone else. it really too bad that know one is buying this truly excellent game.
Well thats it for the first article of My Gaming Weekly. Everone tell me what you think.

I beat it on normal difficulty the first time but I did it on very easy this time because I didn't want to take a long time to beat it. MGS3 is definitely a game you have to beat more than once. Some people do it to get better at stealth, or to get a better score. For me, I just wanted to experience it again. You really notice some things in the story now that I already knew it all. You can see connections that you didn't see the first time through. For me this included stuff like the possibility of Volgin being gay, when he grabbed Snakes jewels when he was disguised as Raikov. I also wanted to get a better score this time than the first time through. The first time I got the shark rating because I killed so many people. This time I made sure to tranq everyone, or just avoid them completely. This time I got a panther rating. I still killed a few guys but the majority was from that motorcycle chase. I didn't think those counted as kills, so I think that it must be really hard to not get any kills just because of that one part. I also learned somethings that I didn't know I could do in the first game like using CQC to counter some guys attack. I also did everything different from the first time. When I was in the torture chamber I played through that dream Snake had. It was really fun. I think Komani should have made that into a minigame that you could play whenever, since it was so fun. I also got stamina kills on all the bosses, which wasn't that hard, especially for the Fury. Even though I had already beat this game it was just as fun going through it again. I can see more of this or any other MGS game in my future.
