So the first two rounds of the competition are officially over and here is my recap of them. I'll do this in 3 parts, round 1A part one, round 1B part two, and round 2 part 3. I'll give the match ups, my pick, the winner, and then any comments.

First Round A

Mario vs. Bonk - Mario wins 96% to 4%. I picked Mario and had no doubt about this one.

The Prince vs. Nights - The Prince wins 91.5% to 8.5%. I picked The Prince, kinda surprised that it was this much of a blowout though. Still knew The Prince would win somewhat easily.

Kyle Katarn vs. Dig Dug - Kyle Katarn wins 67.6% to 32.4%. I actually picked Dig Dug, thinking that a minor Star Wars character wouldn't be out a c1assic game character. But oh was I wrong.

Lara Croft vs. Parappa - Lara wins 90.1% to 9.9%. I picked Lara, poor dog had no chance.

Cloud Strife vs. Lester K. Chaykin - Cloud wins 77.3% to 22.7%. Picked Cloud. A lot closer than I thought, considering I had no clue who this Lester guy was anyway, but Cloud still wins rather easily.

Pheonix Wright vs. Little Mac - Little Mac wins 60% to 40%. I picked Little Mac, but I knew it was going to be close.

Pikachu vs. Nathan Drake - Pikachu wins 60.8% to 39.2%. I picked Nathan Drake in this one, thinking that the Pokemon craze for Pikachu and all that has kind of worn off and the new Nathan Drake games. Was wrong with this one though.

Sam Fisher vs. Kratos - Kratos wins 66.4% to 33.6%. I picked Kratos but I was kind of a shame that Sam Fisher had to be matched up with him because Sam is also a really awesome character.

Guybrush Threepwood vs. Wander - Wander wins 53.5% to 46.5%. I picked Wander just cause he had the most recent games and was a better character in my mind. Still very close though.

Ryu vs. Abe - Ryu wins 78.6% to 21.4%. Picked Ryu, Abe stood absolutely no chance.

Nicko Bellic vs. The Apprentice - Niko wins 55.1% to 44.9%. I picked Niko but I knew the Star Wars fans would make this a close one.

Strider Hiryu vs. Cate Archer - Strider wins 70.7% to 29.3%. I picked Strider, but this one was a very interesting match up because I didn't know very much at all about these two characters.

Liu Kang vs. Yoshi - Yoshi wins 63.1% to 36.9%. I picked Yoshi, thought he would win pretty easily.

Gordon Freeman vs. Bomberman - Freeman wins 74.6% to 25.4%. Picked Gordon Freeman, no question about this one.

Alcuard vs. Travis Touchdown - Alcuard wins 74.7% to 25.3%. I picked Alcuard, but thought this one would be a very close match up. I was horribly mistaken though. Alcuard wins very easily.

Snake vs. Crash Bandicoot - Snake wins 85.4% to 14.6%. Picked Snake, Crash had no chance at all.

Well that's all of round 1A. I only lost two match ups in this round, so a very good start. I will be doing parts 2 and 3 sometime soon, so until next time see ya.
