I first saw Chad as Charlie in Dawson's Creek - my gosh, was he hot!! And i think he played the character pretty well. He was a bit of a womaniser, but you liked him and wanted him to settle down a bit and become a better guy and thought he had it in him. Then, I saw the preview for OTH and he was in it and looked oh so good. Probably one of the reasons i thought i would start watching - and i have never stopped!!! I like the way he portrays Lucas, i think his good looks make for greta viewing, but he is also quite a good actor. I always believe what he is saying and really respect the character, and forgive him for his mistakes.
But then we get onto Chad's personal life, in which there seem to have been many mistakes, which kinda makes me like Lucas a little bit less, but I try keep them separate. I then saw him in my rewatching of Gilmore Girls - gosh he looked young there!! He was again playing the bad boy character and I liked the freshness his character bought to the show and the way he totally threw rory... it was great!!
So, overall, I love his acting, and most of the character's he portrays, but not a real huge fan of the person anymore, which is sad cos i was at the start... but oh man, he is still hot!!!
