Well i've installed xp64 on my desktop since a year now and it is pretty nice using all 4G of ram. on that note Crysis runs pretty well on my system.
as for my laptop i finally got vista off the computer. I installed xp pro since I found all the manufactures drivers. I hate Vista to many things to deal with not to mention a system resouces hog.

Using wireless nic card when play game aren't good. There really nice to have on laptop to go around the place and game. Wireless networks are not dependable. Using a network cable is the be solution. Wireless connections tend to have drops in signal. The choice is your and only your.

Using wireless connections can be dangerous. The wireless network that are open can be used as a hackers breeding ground. Using trusted wireless connections that have some kind of encryption is better to use like WEP and WPA.. This will keep you safer from outside attacks. This will also make you computer less vulnerable.
