Banjo-Kazooie & Banjo-Tooie (N64)

Banjo-Kazooie Boxshot

Banjo-Tooie Boxshot

For this one, i decided to go with both games. I really couldn't decide which one I liked better. For me, these were the first real games i played intensly. I really got into them, even though i was fairly young. While I did play Mario 64, I enjoyed the Banjo-Kazooie games so much more. The worlds were varied and unique, and all have their own theme. My favorites were probably Click Clock World and Terrydactyland. One of the things i liked the most from the games was that in most levels there was some cool transformation that you could change into in order to beat the level. The transformations were pretty varied too, with everything from T-Rex's to Washing Machines. Both Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie were great platformers, and if you haven't at least tried one, then you are crazy

Though I never played them while viewing them in the same style as Mario, 3D platformers, I never had the chance to play them. Always interesting to hear other people's top games, you make a point that no one else can criticize you for - your own voice! Hope to see what top 5 you have here.
