Next year im going away to school for graphic design and i need help trying to decide which type of computer is better for graphic design. So which one is better Mac or PC? and if mac what kind of mac.

Get a PC. They're compatible with more programs you might be using.

I work with Macs everyday for Digital Animation and they are amazing. Macs are very software friendly so you can put Windows Vista or XP on if you want. Did I mention amazingly clearer screen? And besides, you don't have to connect 20 cords or lug around a tower. 
The only downside is that there is no right click on the mouse, but you can always connect a different one. I'm so going to get a MacBook for college.
