Well well well... It's been a long time since I left, but, as we all now, just as good could never die, so does evil!
So here I am, refreshed, back into bussines and with some juicy upgrades! Yes, as in "I've just level up!", or "My cycle now does 120 points of damage instead of just 30!!", but all of this refered to my pc that is. First, I bought a new case, the aerocool extreme 3t, it was an improvised purchase since I had planned to do so by the time I buy an entire new pc, component by component, but since that case has some really 'cool' cooling (and effective, I must add) and my rig was... well, let's just say that you could boil an egg if you wanted (not really but...). And then, my evil minions, I am a creature who believes in temptation and I try to run from it, (but extreamly slow so I know for sure it can catch up) I came across with the all mighty xfx geforce 7950 gx2 Xtreme edition and man, I got tempted, as I looked at it I couldn't help but approach and speak to it "I shall embrace you as my son and use your power to inflict maximun damage on are enemies as we march our united forces into conflict!". So I ran home, did some numbers and every arrow pointed to a new realm of bloodshed... BUT (there's always a but) there was some motherboard list, and mine wasn't listed as either compatible or not! So, being the kamikaze I am, I bought it anyway and it worked like a charm... Fortune favors the Evil!! Muahaha
!
And I also bought another gb of ram, that makes it 2. So far, my jump from my great 6600 gt to the 7950 gx2 is speachless, I couldn't do a lot of testing since I took the oportunity to change the paste of my processor too, but fear run with all things maxed out, ALL, highest resolution and it never ran lower than at 35 fps, oblivion also maxed out at the highest settings (even res) and it also went great. The only negative point I've found is that it can't run aa and hdr at the same time... that's it.
So... quite some return, isn't it??

-Glares- I envy you... I've had my eyes on the 7950 for quite some time... but don't worry... soon my PC will be more evil than yours... that is, once I get a job.... oh and welcome back to the realm of online evil, muwahahahaha!

I would say that evil is good but then, evil can't be good, right? then let's just leave it at "being evil rules!"

The AA HDR combo is the only reason I use ATI Products, I have an NVidia 6600 in one of my puters and really on most games, you cant tell the difference, but play any HL2 game and turn everything all the way up ....... But your set up sound SWEET.... congrats!

Thanks man, next year I'll upgrade it to a whole new one and I'll keep this card for some time, later on I'll give it to my brothers, but since this setup keeps up with everything I use higher resolutions to try to compensate the AA. To be honest, I was going to buy a x1950xtx but... this one sounded better! And thanks for droping by
