After a lot of people left GS, people who made this site worth to visit for me. It's now time to leave this site myself. I canceled my subscribtion a while ago but this will continue till November.
The reaon why I finally decided to leave is mainly cause the upcoming site of Jeff and Ryan, called Giant Bomb. Here I hope to find my refugee instead of being forced to visit other lame sites like this one.
Anyway, all by all had a nice time here at GS, wrote some nice blogs and got to know good people. Unfortunately this comes to an end here. Though, if u are in need to contact me u can always check my own blog, Gamebits or wait for the membership options (if they come) at Giant Bomb and contact me there.
Further on there only this let for me to say.... Sayonara, have a good life and make sure to keep playing games... it makes us who we are! That's all folks...
Gram signing out.
But there's more important news and I'm sure I'm not the only one talking or writing about it. And of course I'm talking about that in less than 20 hours from now Halo 3 will finally be released for the public. Unfortunately we here in Europe will have to wait one extra day. But let's just say its close enough for me to get stoked about it. Especially after seeing all those awesome pictures from promotional material Bungie already did send out to different companies. Though I have to admit that I'm one of those who really care about in which case the game will come. Even with those pictures and all the forums I've searched I still don't know for sure if the Legendary Edition will contain a metal case. I just believe metal casings are better for the preservation of the game
and of course it also looks better. And maybe it sounds strange but I would choose the metal case above the Helmet for some reason. Luckily I've pre-ordered both the Limited and Legendary Edition so I have to option to choose. But my impatient personality makes we rather know it now then later. Ah well, I'll find out soon enough, only 2 more days...only 2 more days.... Another thing I'll be happy about is that ALL the hustle around Halo 3 will finally be over. Stuff like the leaked manual and ending or the pre-release-on-EBay-sold copies. And I don't call that anticipation anymore but frikn obsessive behaviour.
I've also been busy with my own site. It's a blog based website where we focus on mainly 360-related subjects. But I don't think many people here got any use for it since it's a Dutch website. Though even if we try to take a professional approach. It's still just more used for 'try-outs', testing, portfolio and other more educational reasons. And even if it's Dutch everybody is welcome to check it out and all comments or suggestions are appreciated. Well....as long as they are serious of course. Keep in mind that only two people are working on it. Meaning that it can have its flaws here and there. Also the fact that everything you see and touch is created from scratch needs to be taken into consideration when delivering suggestions. And thanks in advance if you do so.
And since I'll be occupied with more important matter from the 26th this month
. I'll like to wish all a happy Halo day and the most of enjoyment to all.

It's safe to say that the release-madness has started. Many, many games will be coming my way and I better get ready for them. If in any case you're wondering which games I'm talking about. Then you can always ready this entry where I enlisted most of them during the E3 this year. Some of those games I really can't wait to get my hands on and others I'm really curious about. Some are already released and others I'll have to endure the pain and suffering to wait for its release.
And it all started last week for me, when Bioshock was released. A by me highly anticipated game where I expected much from. And I certainly got "much" without a doubt. It was exactly what I expected it to be. An amazing story, great game play and beautiful graphics. What more can you want from a game? Though that these type of games are over and done for rather quickly. After finishing it twice, maybe three times to get all the achievements and/or the different endings it pretty much ends with that. The surprise elements are gone and so are the tensions and curiosity that the game has at first and even second play-trough. Still it's one of the better games I've got on the 360 and I'm more than happy that I've got a LE which included an awesome figurine of a "Big Daddy" (the cool one, bouncer).

So I still needed a game that would pull me trough the month as Halo 3 would be released at the end of it. And I already had my eyes on Blue Dragon for some time now. So I eventually decided to get it hoping it would last me till end of the month. And I guess I can say that it has a good chance of doing just that. This because the game contains 3 discs which I was pleasantly surprised about. Still the length of a game doesn't say anything about how good it is. But that it's a good game was confirmed as soon as I started playing. It instantly felt as the old-school RPG which I got to love so much. Also the fact that Akira Toriyama is the character designer does a lot for me. It really is the RPG I was waiting for to be released on the 360. A pretty lengthy old-school, that's not too complicated and easy to enjoy. So in short; I couldn't want much more out of Blue Dragon than what it has to offer.
Another game that's already been released and waiting to get bought by me is Metroid Prime 3. As I've been REALLY disappointed in what's been released for the Wii this far. I finally got my prayers answered with the release of Metroid. I also expect pretty much from that game and hope to be adding it to my collection soon. Maybe I even would have bought Metroid before Blue Dragon. But since I'm so deeply disappointed in what's out for the Wii this day. I kinda stopped checking out what is being released when on the Wii. So yea, I totally had no idea when Metroid 3 was going to be released which is the simple reason why I haven't got it instead of Blue Dragon. But don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have wanted it otherwise than how it is now.
Further on like I've mentioned before I'm anxiously waiting for Halo 3 to be released. Been way too long since I played the second one and I don't remember even half of what the story was about. Maybe I should get back to it just to refresh my memory but it's pretty hard when you got two nice new games which are waiting to be played. And of course I'm curious how the story will end this time, since both previous version pretty much left us in the dark. But most important aspect of the Halo-series for me and with me many other is without a doubt the online play. And since I'm an achievement-freak. I really wonder how/if they will combine that with the medals. Ah well, guess I'll see soon enough.
Finally for those whom it may concern. I'm slowly getting back into the OSU-actions. Posting in the forums and thinking about how to improve the union to get it more active again.Maybe even try to get some features running again. If any1 wants/can help or even have ideas for anything feel free to PM me at any time about this.
TNT,
