I've been on the computer since 6:15 pm last night. Every page takes 3 to 5 minutes or more just to load. Then when try to submit anything the computer freezes or I get a blank page. I've tried logging out and logging back in, but nothing helps. I feel like I'm trying to run in wet sand! 
On the other hand, I think I'll just go to sleep and then get up and go to the beach. If I'm going to sit and stare at anything for long periods of time, I may as well stare at something beautiful!!!

Oh my... the beach... here it's snowing like there is no tomorrow. Can't wait to get my diploma and move to somewhere more... human friendly. hehe

A little tip...experience has shown that TV.com tends to have issues in terms of slowdown, freezing, and other nastiness on the weekends. You might try submitting during the weekdays/weeknights...a pain but it goes faster....

That's a beautiful picture! It's all coldish and soon to be snowy here, so you're lucky that you have beautiful beaches to look at!

When I logged onto the site this afternoon, I saw on the Forums that there was a general slowdown on the site. I'm glad I decided to go to bed instead of torturing myself by staying on-line early this morning! 
Vyce3: As far as I know, anyone can post pictures in their Blog. There are directions for all kinds of special add-ons in the tv.com Forum. Just click on this link: tv.com Unofficial FAQ. You would need to upload the photo you want onto a site such as photobucket.com, where you can sign up for free. See Part 2, question 50, about adding photos.

Yeah, here last winter we had like 3 meters of snow on the ground. I hope this winter will be less... hardcore...

A nice beach. Is that a place you've been or a found picture?
Info about me: I was recruited some time back by RJ-viewer. Then I spent a lot of time contributing on Firefly (where I am #2). Then I haven't been on for about a month or so. It's nice to come back and see new people! At least you're new to me!

I love the picture. Do you live near the beach? I do and I find it so peaceful to be there at sunrise and watch the world wake-up.

MrJCobb: the beach is in Hawaii, but I didn't personally take the photo. It's really hard to find an empty beach! I've only been on the site since mid October. I came to the site to enter biographical information on my late husband. I found that I needed to gain levels to enter submissions. I'm still waiting for my submissions to be looked at.

I used to live near the ocean, but now I don't. I don't like beaches overmuch.
