I've got to usernames now! I've got "gotta_rock" and "turbo_gun_hawk." I'm happy. Now I can review all the albums again with "turbo_gun_hawk." Anyways. By for now.

Ok! The Darkness are now my favourite band. AC/DC have been booted into second and The Darkness are now officially my favourite! Ok! I'm gonna explain why they are:
1.They have revived good time rock. With influences like AC/DC, Queen, Thin Lizzy, I hear a bit of Meatloaf in there and you've got a perfectly rockin' band.
2.They have AC/DC, Thin Lizzy like riffs and Justin's wailing falsetto perfectly complements these catchy guitar licks.
3. They've got seriously rockin' songs like, "Black Shuck," "Get Your Hands Off My Woman"
"I Believe In A Thing Called Love" "Love Is Only A Feeling" "Stuck In A Rut" and "Love On The Rocks With No Ice"
4.They have two awesome CD's. The first trashy and really, seriously rockin' and the second about cocaine addiction, break ups and balding. The first is better than the second.
5.Justin Hawkins. The true rock god! With a falsetto and crazy on stage antics. As I said. ROCK GOD!!!
6.Their name is dramatic and sounds like a death metal band.
7.Each member has his own personality. Justin is just crazy. Dan is smooth and it is hard to see him at a gig with a Thin Lizzy T-Shirt. Frankie(Is Now Gone) has his handle bar moustache. Ed is a great smooth, yet crazed drummer. And the new bassist Richie is bald.
8.First album built for air guitar.
9.Film clips are weird. They have flying dinosaurs(Pterodactyls) Giant squids, space ships being attacked by giant squids, the outrageous suits, guys in penguin suits, Justin dressed up as the devil and of course "Love Is Only A Feeling" shot in the blue mountains in Australia.
10.All of the above. See 1-10.

They were one of the great hard rock acts of the seventies and now they have become forgotten. Shame! They are one of my favourite bands, the lead singer and bassist, Phil Lynott may be dead but has a wild, charismatic voice and they came up with one of my favourite CDs. Jailbreak. Come on they rock.
Some people just don't have opinions. Like gotta_rock.
gotta_rock must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could gotta_rock possibly have for not rating a single film?
