My hard drive has apparently failed andI am writing this from my wife's laptop. I've dug up a spare 20 GB hard drive liberated from the last time I upgraded a drive that I can do a master/slave switch on to try rescuing files (like my games database). I now need to find my XP install disc, 'cuz I think that my backup HDD is loaded with either 2000 or ME, I can't remember.

I was having a discussion about the importance of disk backups just yesterday with my wife; boy is there egg on my face.

Also, did you know that pill bugs (sow bugs, roly-polies) are terrestrial crustaceans? We have an explosion in their local numbersright now and I was looking them up on wikipedia since it seems everyone here has a different slang name for the animal. It's typically called a wood louse, but it bearsmore taxonomical similarity to a crab than a louse. You learn something new every day. God Bless the interwebs. And the children.
