Jose Feliciano has received a total of six Grammy Awards. The Grammy awards are two in English and four in Spanish. He has won sixteen nominations over the years, an accomplishment that he treasures dearly. Jose Feliciano truly has a gift, beyond the obvious, which he shares with us through his songs. Jose Feliciano wrote the song Feliz navidad that became so very popular in the Hispanic countries and in the U.S. Still around the Christmas time of year you could hear me and other people sing this famous song which is wishing everyone a merry Christmas both in English and in Spanish.

Selena had to learn Spanish so that she could sing Spanish songs like her father wanted her to. Selena Died March 31, 1995 on Corpus Christi, Texas, USA. She was killed by Yolanda Saldívar, the president of Selena's fan club and the manager of her boutiques. Yolanda Saldívar shot Selena in the back and so Selena went to the hospital in an ambulance. Selena died by loss of blood. When Selena died I had the chicken pox.

Everyone that new her like me but not personally were sad and that was also for the people that meet her. Celia Cruz was married when she died and before she died she won something. She said that she felt bad that day and so then she died but she was filled with happiness when she won and was nominated for a Grammy or something. If only Celia was back to life again. Christian Castro is one of my secondary favorite Spanish singers. I totally loved his song Azul which is in English called Blue. Christian Castro can be seen talked about in the channel Univision. You can mostly see him on the show El Gordo Y La Flaca, and the show is about rumors that happened recently and what the paparazzi got a footage of. Christian Castro has the same last name as Fidel Castro which is the Cuban president. Christian's songs have a great rhythm and has great use of different words. Jaci Velasquez is one of my all time favorite Christian singers because her songs have like a beat that I like. I totally love her song llegar a ti and como se cura una herida. She has a very beautiful and talented voice. I can say that God is happy with the Christian songs that she has sung. The song named como se cura una herida is about Jaci Velasquez being hurt and she is trying to find the cure. She then figures out that only God can be the only cure and that is what I love of that song and also the words. This song show that God is very helpful and maybe the only cure. When I say cure I mean any sickness or trouble that you are in.

Shakira is a singer that speaks spanish like me and she speaks a little bit of English. One of my favorite songs by her is loca ciega sorda muda, la tortura, hips don't lie, si te vas, No creo, inevitable, Que vuelvas, Tu and Ojos haci. Shakira has been a singer since I was little and maybe even earlier. She is very a very talented person because she now sings English and Spanish which may be hard for some singers or maybe not. If you speak spanish you could see how clever the songs are and that have a point like for example the song La Tortura, the point is that it is torture knowing that someone that I love and loves me back can't be together because the man is married and doesn't want to tell his wife.
