Mysteries, comedies, and game shows. Mysteries, comedies, and game shows. Hmmm.......

Hey, that might make a good Monk episode. What a concept!

Indeed, why not have 'the defective detective' investigate murder on a game show? There's no shortage of game show hosts who (in Saki's wise words) "would be enormously improved by death".

Yes, actually there was an episode, 'Mr. Monk and the Game Show', but the host was not a victim. He just colluded with the champion to continue winning. Our idea would be a great plot.

Welcome to blogging!

Would getting USA and GSN to work together for a Monk episode help your great plot?

One thought would be a celebrity (real or character) week on LINGO, so Monk could be on a real LINGO game. While there they could tape part of the Monk episode using the real episode he is on, the set, Chuck & Shandi, etc.

Well, just a thought on how to combine your interest / love for both series.

An interesting idea, we could have detectives vs. cops, with Monk and Natalie wiping the floor with Disher and Stottlemyre.
