Everyone knows who Michael Shields is. His story has touched the world. It was announced today that he was found guilty (of a crime that he did not commit) and has been sentenced to 15 years.
I am Michael's age. I couldn't cope if I was in a foreign country and found guilty of a crime that I didn't commit.
Stories have been released and they tell of his distress and torture while under arrest. Michael was in prison for 2 months before his trial started.
The family have about 3 days to start the appeal proceedings because the courts in Bulgaria are having a 2 month break.
Michael has the whole of Liverpool supporting him. The UK Government could be having talks with the Bulgarian Government so that maybe Michael could be given bail so that he can come home.
I study Law, but I think I will discontinue my studies. I wanted to do Law to make a difference. I wanted to help the good people and put the bad people away. In this case, it's reverse. The good has been punished.

"An innocent voice is louder than a crowd" - soon, Michael's voice will be heard and soon he will be home.

Well, my personal statement basically says most things about me. I'm a college student and in the future, I would like a career in Law (probably Criminal Law). I am also interested in Medicine and Biology. If the Law thing doesn't work out, I will change to Medicine. I know they're very different subjects, but I am interested in them both and they're appealing to me.

The next thing I want to say is that (I dont want to be bias or offend the people in charge of this website but.........) I dont like tv.com. I know that it's probably taken ages to create and design, but it's nothing compared to tvtome.com. I was the Coronation Street editor on tvtome.com for about 2 years, and now all of a sudden, I have no control and I'm not allowed to be editor of the show. I don't understand how tv.com works. All of the pictures and buttons can't be seen so how can they be used? I've emailed for assistance on the site but I don't get any replies.

Now I'm going to go on and talk about a few of my favourite shows. Charmed and Buffy are joint 1st in my list of favourite shows. They're great in portraying females as independent and strong willed.
I also like The OC and ER.
As well as these shows, I am a soap fan. I love Coronation Street, Home and Away, Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Emmerdale. I also like The Bill, Bad Girls and Footballers Wives.
