While many gamers are upset over Nintendo's E3 conference due to a variety of perceived missteps, I believe these were not missteps but deliberate attempts to troll their own fan base. Why you might ask? I think the real question to ask is why not? Nintendo is basically rolling in cash from the Wii. The Nintendo DS and Wii basically print money by selling crap. Nintendo has nothing to prove other than they can do whatever they want this generation and still earn a truck load.

There's no reason for Nintendo to put out quality games anymore as they can make "Draw the stick figure" and it will sell more copies than any multi-million dollar title. All that's left for Nintendo to do is go out with a bang and sh*t on all the old hardcore gamers they once had. Let's start with the worst.

1) The very face of Nintendo's end; Cammie Dunaway.

This evil woman is your typical sports-orientated who thinks all violent video games will turn children into murderers.
I guess Nintendo thought Cammie would be the best possible fit to host their E3 press conference as she embodies all the qualities that make a great speaker for a video game company:
- Over medicated: Check
- Smile that rivals the Joker: Check
- Beyond Phony: Check
- No clue about video gaming in general: Check

She's just fantastic, right kids? Grin

Cammie Dunaway Post Conference Interview This is the most sickening video i've seen. It's like they're in a different freaking world. Oh my god, "pleasing the long time hardcore fans"? Grand Theft Auto?! Excuse me? While this interview was conducted after Nintendo's press conference, I think it's worth mentioning only for how poorly Cammie answered every question. Just watch as Cammie smiles excessively to the point where her mouth is trying to escape her face while she avoids every single question that Game Trailers asks her. How the interviewer restrained himself from not violently lashing out against Cammie during the interview is beyond me. Doesn't this video make you just want to set her on fire and prod a stick at her? Goshh.

Isn't it awesome at the start of the conference when Cammie is introduced to the stage that there is absolutely ZERO. APPLAUSE. That, I must admit, was the most thrilling part of the entire conference, IMO.

2) Zero interesting games.

Nintendo's upcoming games/toys for the Wii and DS are essentially a middle finger to actual gamers who own their systems:

- Shaun White Snowboarding (feat. that annoying ranga!!)
- Animal Crossing: City Folk
- Gayman Raving Rabbits
- Call of Duty: World at War (who cares?)
- Guitar Hero on Tour: Decades
- Spore Creatures
- Pokemon Ranger
- Wii Sports Resort
- Wii Music/spastic

Not one of these games incites any sort of excitement toward the future of the Wii or DS. It's as though they forgot that some people want to play a game that is not a compilation of mini games. It's sad that demon lady only had to use 10 spare seconds to announce that a new Zelda is in the making to make us gamers happy. The sadder thing is that they didn't and created false hype for those crummy games.

Ahh well, lets look on the bright side, at least little Bobby can look forward to "press the buttons to make the mono sounding music that is the trumpet"!

3) Motion control.

Wii motion plus.

People probably wonder how Wii Motion Plus could possibly be a bad thing for gamers, and the truth is it's not. So why is it included on the list? Well, due to the cost associated for the 1:1 functionality which should have been incorporated with the Wii AT LAUNCH DATE for 30 dollars pr something, you get a bulky extension to the Wii mote which is ugly and drains batteries at a more increased rate, thanks Nintendo!

4) Mr long-haired ranga presents: Annoying Laughter and Virtual Snowboarding!!

A smart guy on a comments page once commented: "If you told me this press? conference put Nintendo out of business, I would believe you."

Here is the embarrassing proof of a video of that the quote guy is right. Shaun White in MEGA HARDCORE ACTION!

I don't know how Nintendo did it, but they managed to find someone just as annoying, if not more annoying/fake than Cammie. Shaun White's snowboarding features exciting game controls like tilting left and right on an overpriced piece of plastic crap. Check out how much fun Shaun and Cammie have tearin' up the virtual slopes (Bonus points if you can spot when Shaun realizes he sold all his dignity to be in a fail game for the Wii).

5) Storage Issue Ignored.

One of the major complaints concerning the Wii from EVERYONE is the lack of storage space for the Wii Virtual Console games. The Wii can hold a beefy 512 Megs which would be plenty - if the year was 1992. So you would think their E3 conference would the perfect opportunity to announce an expansion to the Wii's storage space, right? Wrong, not one single mention of any sort of solution to the storage issue. Nintendo even failed to mention anything concerning upcoming Wiiware games. I don't know why I even expected as much, I had forgotten just for a moment that Miyamoto has gone insane and has forgotten that he has others to please.

So to conclude, Nintendo lost the conference at scored -867497163598151350.

As most of you know, I wrote an enormous and epic blog, Glitchspot sent three quarters of it on a holiday to blog paradise. Sorry that I am not posting very often, I am really really busy and I try to get online on weekends and before school. I am still here and am not leaving, just can't post as often as I would like to.

The first thing I must say is that I finally got a Playstation 3. It makes me such a happy gamer to put that thing on my console's shelf. It's a BBQ, you could roast meat on that thing. The first game we got is Soul Calibur IV. I have wanted this for so long. The fighting game play is really awesome and the stages are good. (Graphics are amazing) I'm just a little let down that the story modes suck so bad. They're way too short and the characters are unlocked by buying them. I also think Daeth Vader is a ball of fail and should be shot in the mask.

What games next on PS3 for me guys?
