The Giantbomb concepts pages got me thinking:
The one video game concept that I hate the most is that of being chased. When playing an FPS it's too hard to turn around to see if you are safe without getting caught and it's always real nerve-racking for me. Examples: Condemned 2 (bear), Gears (berserker), HL2 (combine), etc. I hate being forced to run away quickly, especially when the game mechanics make it hard to do so... I'm looking at you Assassin's Creed (sometimes Altair doesn't cooperate and it is really frustrating).
Ugh, glad I got that off my chest.
