One of my favourite video game commercials has to be the one for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. Catchy theme songs with explosions get me every time! If you haven't seen it yet, check it out here.

I've been looking forward to the second Mercs game since I heard about it. Unfortunately, I've been a little hesitant to buy it since I've read some pretty mixed reviews on the game. If any of you have any opinions on it, please let me know so I can make a decision on if it's worth getting or not.

Gaming Updates:

This week was a pretty productive gaming week! (For once) Now I can proudly say I've beaten 3 games this year...

Monday, I finally got enough patience to beat LOZ Phantom Hourglass. Let's just say I never want to see the Temple of the Ocean King ever again. Other than that, it was the typical enjoyable Zelda experience.

Today, I finally beat Super Mario Galaxy! I've had the game since last Christmas so it's about time! I booted out Bowser, but I've only got 109 Power Stars. I might try for the rest or just move on to another game. Haven't decided yet.

I still haven't played GTA IV in a while, but I connected my Xbox 360 to XBL to update my achievements. One of them is called "Assassin's Greed" Here they are:

And I'm sure no one's interested in me rambling on about World of Warcraft, but my level 70 is about 3,000 honor points away from a new piece of PVP gear!

GG's Life Updates:

The first full week of this semester is gone! So far, not too may assignments. Just one really hard Calculus assignment that's due tomorrow. I've got a couple questions done and no clue how to do the rest Looks like I'll be getting a tutor this week... I'm in Calc level 2 so not remembering level 1 probably isn't helping.

Now I'm off to watch Family Guy and prepare for another busy week. Have a great week everyone!

Well, back at college again. Summer went way too fast (as usual ).

I had a pretty busy summer so I didn't stop by here at all. It's a long story, but let's just say I ended up with 3 jobs and not a lot of free time. Thankfully, I'm just back to the regular college and army thing now. Oh, and I did pass everything last year (even programming!). Now, college is going to be more time consuming since I have to complete some major senior project thing in order to graduate. They've also increased the number of weekends per month I have to work now. On the bright side, there's only 10 months until graduation!

Gaming wise, not a whole lot going on. Still haven't beat GTA IV (come to think of it it's been a while since I even played it... or turned on my Xbox 360 for that matter). I do have a badly geared level 70 on World of Warcraft though!

Looks like the site changed again so it'll take me a while to firgue out how to do stuff. Everytime I'm gone, they always change something on GS... Well, off to class, then work. Hopefully I'll be around more this weekend or it could be another couple of months... who knows?

Gaming Updates:

I've been happily playing GTA IV for a good chunk of my free time last week. From what I've played so far, the game is amazing! It stays true to the Grand Theft Auto formula and adds some pretty innovative features. However, it is missing some elements from GTA San Andreas. For example, I miss the RPG-like stat system where you can max out CJ's muscel, make him fat, learn how to drive better, swim faster, etc. But GTA IV certainly makes up for it in other areas. My favourite new part has to be how the developers worked the cell phone into the game. I've completed about 18% of the achievements for it too:

Oh and I haven't played World of Warcraft or Super Mario Galaxy since last Monday

GG's Life Updates:

Good news: I just barely passed computer programming! Seriously, that was the closest I ever came to failing a course in college... I think the teacher just passed me because he felt like it though I got a 15% on the major project and a 40% on the exam so his math doesn't add up. But, I'm definitely not complaining!

This semester is 5 weeks long and is packed pretty full. I'm in another computer programming cl@ss now as well. Can't escape it can I? This time it's in a language called "G". It's all graphical using LabView so I find it a little easier to understand. Instead of typing in some code that looks like a bunch of random letters to me, you just find a picture and add it. I'm seriously thinking I chose the wrong program... Too late to switch now I guess.

Have a good week guys! For those of you who hate GTA IV: Don't worry. Only a few more weeks until the hype dies down!
