I got the ps3 slim and metal gear 4. what else games are good? are there good rpgs for it? what about action/adventure games?i don't know. just anyone who happens to read this give your suggestions (i'm guessing the one or two that actually do).

well IMO resistance 1 & 2, killzone 2, gran turismo 5, fallout 3 if you dont already have it. those should be some good starters.

There are many games which have budget prices like Uncharted, Devil May Cry 4 and Oblivion. Also congrats on your new system...welcome to the dark side
